About
Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

Love the new cups & Flags on the greens.
The greens are really nice today a lot of improvement. Thanks for all the great work going on. Glade Valley friendliest staff & golfers fantastic grounds keepers., just is always a joy to play no matter what the weather.

Good layout
This is a good course for a beginner. Good course for a walker. This course was good about 8 to 10 years ago, since than, the course has been deteriorating gradually.
The bunkers have no sand. Too many bare spots even on the fairways. Many times, the color of the flags do not correspond with the position of the holes. I see too many unrealistic 5 star reviews.
Management need a wake up in maintaining a golf course.

Great conditions
Great course at great prices - recommend this course for all. Occasionally the pace of play is slow due to slow players but most of the time it’s reasonable considering it’s a public course.
