Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

Great experience

First time playing this course, was in great shape. The grass was a little long but it was just because it had poured the day before and they couldn’t cut it. It wasn’t that swampy at all for the amount of rain they got.

Good time, would definitely come back if the price is right.

What a beautiful course!!

What a beautiful course. This is my second time playing Glade Valley and it didn’t disappoint. The tee boxes were perfect, the fairways were beautiful green and ball would run wild and the Greens were outstanding. I love the hills and twists the course has. I don’t know what it I was about this course but I could drive the ball better here then most courses I play in FL. Overall this is a great course to play and I recommend to anyone who is looking for a great course.

Has gotten better over the years.

I have been playing this course for years. One reason is that it is fairly close to my house. One reason was for the price. They have raised the price this year but it is still reasonable compared to other courses. They have also improved the course with new carts with screens that show your yardage and can play music. Not the beast speakers but better than nothing. They have also started improving the course itself. I just noticed on this trip that they have replaced the sand on many holes and the new sand is much better that the old sand.
