About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

GREAT FAIRWAYS
THE FAIRWAYS WERES IN GREAT SHAPE, NOT SO THE GREENS BECAUSE THEY WERE BEING AERATED.
Excellent course for a beginner
This was my wife's. Second time playing golf she enjoyed the course very much we will be back
this course is a challenging to me

the staff was great, course is well maintained nice executive course for a beginner or any golfer to play some golf. Facilities were nice and clean and the 19th hole is small but adaquate.
Fun short course
Course needs a little TLC, Dry, scarred greens look like someone doesn't know how to use a mower.

My friends and I recently got into the game of golf and this course has proven to be a great place to learn and work on basic skills. Great staff and challenging but forgiving course for beginners

Accommodating staff. Head pro Dave was on top of the operation and very friendly.
We thought the course was in excellent condition despite the fact that the tees were being aerated. Although play was slow in the beginning, Dave and his ranger handled the situation well and things moved much more quickly later. The greens and fairways were in fine shape. The staff and people playing the course were friendly as well.
The blue tee markers offer a challenge to those interested in working on their short game.
This course is very well maintained & the greens were challenging and fun.
We traveled an hour to play this course for the first time. We were referred there by friends who loved it. It was definitely worth the pleasant ride there and we will be back again!

While this course is not very challenging, it is ideal for beginner, young people or anyone who want a quick round of gold. Most holes are par 3. Just enough challenges to keep it interesting
