About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Nice little Executive Course in good condition
For this time of the year late Dec.
Quick easy round of golf in 3 hrs.
Friendly Staff.
The course is wonderfully maintained

Neat little place, great short game practice
Course is in great shape. A little slow behind some retirees but we just played a couple of short par 3s twice. Outstanding short game practice. Staff was great, will go back again when I need to work on those wedges.
Short but nice
Nice course but too many short holes. The tricky greens made up for the 100 yard tee shots. Would be nice to have yardage marking stakes on the sides of the fairways on the longer holes. Tee markers were also hard to find. Nice snack bar and the clubhouse help were very nice.

When my wife and I started playing this course and payed full green fees it was friendlier.We are now on Soc Sec and look for discounts.Maybe it's my imagination,but it seems golfnow customers are not as welcome. I hope I'm wrong.
Great Golf Course
This course is very nice and is very good for practice rounds. It's enjoyable for all ages from juniors to adults. Recommend for players who want to have fun.
Nice day at Squirrel Run
Had nice round Tuesday. Course in nice shape, no delays. Good to work on short game, water, hazards in play.
Weather stopped a potentially great experience.
I had a great time playing at Squirrel Run, until we were cut short at the 12th hole by a thunderstorm.

Very nice executive course.
with two par 4
fairways and greens are well kept with shaded areas for relief on those hot sunny days.
staff and instructors very helpful and friendly and very supportive to beginner golfers like myself.
They have a get golf ready program for people who have always wanted to play and for those who need to restart their game. Get out and play this course you will enjoy it !
Nice course, drivers should be banned here
Very nice course, it's got a couple par 4s where a driver could be used, but if you can hit your driver better than 200 yds, you better have good accuracy, or you could kill someone. All the new golfers are hitting drivers, could get scary. That said, greens and tee boxes are in great shape, yesterday followed rain and the greens were as slow as I've played. Lots of 110 yd ish holes, have your gps as the markers and cards are often 20yds off. With golf now coup this course is a great deal.
Worth Playing!
Squirrel Run is a great par 57 course. The pro and his staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The greens are challenging and the experience is fun. Play it if possible.

The people were friendly,the course was very well maintained I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys a great golf outing.

Squirrel Run Hits the Mark
Great course for beginners and people looking for a laid back round of golf. The staff is great and the course is always easy to get tee times for a great price. I highly recommend Squirrel Run!
great course for the dough
My wife and played here( her first time out) it was great . challenging but far. only down side the bar and restaurant were closed(understaffed) but great day on the course. will definitely return

Great course, good condition. Will definitely play there again.
Father/ son moment for the ages.
Just a great day. I made a hole in one on 15, and my son made one on 17. This place will always be special to me. A well run facility with a great crew running it. Highly recommend playing here.
