About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Nice Little Course
It has been roughly 10 years since I played a round of golf. I used to play this course often back then and today it is just as fun and well maintained as I remembered it. A fun short course to practice your short game.
Very enjoyable
Course played slow the day we played due to a scramble tournament but should play within a reasonable time. Course had many picturesque holes. good variety of length and obstacles which had to be carried. Wife just learning and a fun course for both of us.

This is a great short course. It is well maintained and it played quickly. Chose it for my first outing of the season to get the rust out.

long hitter, not your place. Need to improve your short game, great.
If your a single, the players are friendly and down to earth.
The course is in good shape, well kept and pretty.
My only issue is that it's a family course and beginners and small children are allowed out before noon which results in slow play.
Nice par 3&4
This course is short but has many hazards to prsent a challenge to the intermediate golfer. Would certainly reccommend to friends to play this course.
Great course, challenging enough, yet do-able!
My brother introduced us to this course about 2-3 years ago. My wife and I enjoy the fact that both men and women can play a challenging and competitive game. The greens and fairways are always in good shape. Usually there is plenty of cold water on the course. A beverage cart also comes around, and there is a small 19th hole area with an outside grill and other nice selections inside. At this time they are working on their pipes, and the day we played there was no water available on the course, so be sure to bring some along with you, just in case.
Great for your short game with challenging greens.
Welcomed by very friendly staff. We were allowed to tee off early.The course was in good shape except for the geese droppings on the greens. For an off season round, I guess you cann't complain too much.
The greens are challenging with undulations on almost all of them. Many of the cups were cut on uneven slopes, which made for a disappointing final score. Over all, a round in season should be on your list for next year.
Very enjoyable course
Always find the course in good shape especially the greens and the pace of play is usually pretty good. Can't really beat the value.

I have played Squirrel Run Golf Course several times and have thouroughly enjoyed it each and every time I have played there..The conditions have always been top notch and the staff is always friendly and helpful..I find Squirel Run to be very challenging and a great practice facility for short irons and putting..I highly recommend this course
