About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

A golf reviewer!
The golf course is always in good shape; however, golfers need to learn how to repair damaged grass by their own doing. My petpeave.

Squirrel Run, Enjoy
The wet weather has been a blessing for the course. Fairways in the best condition I can remember. Greens are good, but I wish players would fix their divots. Possibly the staff could remind players they should repair their ball marks. The sand traps could use some attention, but for the most part the course is in good shape and fun to play.

Have always beefed well pleased playing this course. Being a recreational golfer it provides me with all type of challenges. Great staff, very friendly. Course always in great condition
Super fun
We played 18 holes with the first 9 taking 2 hours and the back 9 1 hour. Things moved smoothly. It was fun to play the back 9, where there were some very short holes of 74 and 78 yards.
Good track for short iron practice
Nice track. Well maintained. Challenging par3’s. Good course for short game practice.
Green’s were a touch slow, but that may be due to earlier heavy rains.
Great Deal
A great deal for the $, Squirrel Run, short course, par 57, did it in three hour!
Very playable executive course
Nice short course to let you focus on your short game. Fun undulating greens and puttable. No drinkable water on the course as their fountains are turned off. So in the heat of summer BYO.
