About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Fun short course
Great course conditions. Fun course to work on short game.

The course was in good shape, sand traps need some work.
Early in the season
Greens were ok for the time of year. Could have been rolled a bit bumpy. Lots of sticks and debris in fairway. Just needs a good spring clean up. Also could use a bit of loam and grass seed on the patchy areas. All and all for a small course it was ok for the time of year.
The Squirrel was almost perfect
Course was dry. Greens were well kept. Noon time start and not many on the course Only issue was water fountains were not turned on Wondering if last years leaks were not fixed

The golf course is always in good shape; however, golfers need to learn how to repair damaged grass by their own doing. My petpeave.

Squirrel Run, Enjoy
The wet weather has been a blessing for the course. Fairways in the best condition I can remember. Greens are good, but I wish players would fix their divots. Possibly the staff could remind players they should repair their ball marks. The sand traps could use some attention, but for the most part the course is in good shape and fun to play.
