Wild Laurel Golf Course

Booked for 4 players, only two showed, so NO problem with pace. Course was a little wet and soggy in places, but overall in good shape. Greens rolled very good. Great hot dogs and plenty of draft beer selections.

The course is much better today. Six weeks ago lost balls in the fairway, makes the fun to be low. Looks like with more mowers they are on the right track.

Our favorite place to play! Golf courses are always a bit rough this time of year. The new staff is doing a great job with the course. It’s so beautiful it’s hard to concentrate on your golf game. Will be back soon! Love this place!

My husband and I played this course yesterday and we had an excellent time . Staff very friendly and renovations or awesome. The course was in fairly decent shape and very challenging at times.

The course was in good shape several of the greens had bad spots like they were burnt up during the summer it's a challenging course well worth it

Try to play this course 4 or 5 times a year. Only because of the distance fron my home..is app.one hour travel. Appreciate the upgrades to the clubhouse and the positive attitudes of the staff.....the course is challenging but fair if you can keep it in the fairway........miss and yu will pay the price in deep rough..

Overall in decent shape but continued work needed to raise the fairways and greens to tiptop conditions..

Will definitely return....

Have lived in the area for 24 years and heard about the course and it's pretty scenery. But the condition of the course didn't live up to expectations. Tees and fairways were very shaggy looking like it had been weeks since they had been mowed. Greens had been aerified quite sometime ago and were very soft and slow. Would not recommend for competitive golfers but for a couples day out my wife and I enjoyed the views.

Very slow, groups ahead would not allow a single to play thru. Left the golf course on # 10. If it continues to be slow will go else where to play??

Clubhouse staff were great to work with and extremely friendly. The views on this course are magnificent and some of the best in the area. When I played it looked like the rough on the course had not been mowed in several days. You had to basically step on your ball to find it. Also, it seems like they have narrowed the fairways recently and the course was already a fairly tight course. The greens also had some black spots on them. Played the course last fall and the course was in better condition then. Improvements have been made to the clubhouse area and it is top of the line. The remodeled clubhouse is great.

Played today 1st round this year. Course was in good condition,pace of play was great. I will return.

Beautiful setting in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Challenging yet relaxing and peaceful.A very enjoyable round of golf. The pro shop was very friendly as well. Will definitely be back to play soon.

I hadn’t played the course before this year, (3) times now. I heard it was in bad shape and new owners are putting a lot into it. Can’t beat the views and overall value. It’s going to be a great course.

My son and I played this course for the first time during our family vacation. What we enjoyed the most was the beautiful setting of the golf course in the Smoky Mountains. There were some thick grass clippings in the fairways of a few holes, but overall, the course was in solid shape. The greens are in excellent shape considering the heat of summer! We even saw a black bear on the back nine through a patch of trees just off of the course.

The staff was very nice to us during our visit to the clubhouse. We had a lovely time. We will be back again on our next vacation! Thank you.

Fairway were not mowed like playing from the rough in the fairway...Could be a nice place too bad the conditions were awful I have played a lot of places in the area and this was worst golf course by fair

Greens are small. That’s this courses defense. Tee boxes and fairways not mowed. Greens in excellent shape. Bent grass. For the value, good course and I would play again. Attendant at bar about as friendly as a pit bull with AIDS.

Nice friendly course with good play pace. Lots of bugs, especially around water.

On the last 3 times I played this course. It was very slow & finally left the course after the 15th & the 17th hole. Have been playing this course since 2014 til today. However if it continues to be slow * No ranger to speed things up. Will go to the other courses.

This course was nestled in a very beautiful valley and our family had a peaceful, leisurely round while passing through on vacation. There were a few blind tee shots and the conditions were very dry but for the bargain price on GolfNow it was an excellent value. The new clubhouse was still under construction but looks to be awesome with a terrific view of the course below and mountains in the distance. This course is not yet at its full potential but if can get a good deal and are not super picky about having perfect lush grass you should have a nice time in the Smoky Mt. Valley at Wild Laurel. I would play this course again.
