Wild Laurel Golf Course

The course is in really good shape for this early in the year. The greens are excellent.

The golf course had a tournament in the morning. When I arrived they managed to get me out. After the tournament, there were players two holes ahead of me and three holes behind me. I did not have to rush or wait for any other groups. The greens were not too fast or too slow. I had a great round, I am looking forward to golfing here again.

My dad played this course 15 years ago and raved about the layout and how nice of a course it was. We were both shocked to see it in the condition it's in now. It was hard to find grass in the fairways and tee boxes as most of it was dirt or weeds popping up through the dirt. Surprisingly the greens were in tremendous shape. They rolled fast and true. The layout is still great with the elevation changes with mountain streams and views. The clubhouse was under construction but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend bringing your own clubs as the rental clubs were about 30 years old but for $10 you can't really complain. This could once again be a great course if the fairways come back. Would recommend it just for the beauty of the landscape and layout but the condition doesn't warrant full price currently.

This golfday has been a poor experience. Clubhouse was under renovation. The lady at reception was very friendly, however she did not mention anything about the very poor course condition. The Tee boxes had definitly not seen any service this year. Some of the Tee boxes for the ladies were not even marked. I overheard that there has been a change in ownership not too long ago. Lots of work ahead. Definitly no place to play for the next 3—4 years at least. Golf Now should delist or at least have a note prior to booking.

Always look forward to playing tbis course...tight and challenging....club house currently being remodeled...should be great when finished...

Very friendly staff...seem to appreciate that we chose to play there today....passed several other courses along the way...

Beautifully nestled in the valley of the Smokey Mtns. Wild turkey and Whitetail deer are just some of the wildlife you may encounter on your round of golf. Renovations being made to the clubhouse and the staff was very friendly. Locals are there regularly and everyone is willing to share their insight about the course and the area. Whether you are a local or on vacation this course is definitely worth the drive. Look forwarding to going back soon to tackle the hills again.

Great track with million dollar views and wild life

The golf course is in a valley in the smoky mountains. The temperature was in the low 60s but there was snow on the mountain tops. The ponds and rivers on the course were very clean. The sand traps were laid out perfectly so you had to really think about what part of the green you hit your ball to. The golfers and staff were very courteous and friendly (as they are in all the courses that I have golfed at). The course and carts are well maintained. They are in the process of remodelling and that is why i gave them a average score for amenities but i can tell when they finish i will give them 5 stars. I look forward to golfing here again.

Great course. Golf now was not accurate about the distance so it took a lot longer to get there. Paid for 18 holes but we did not get to play all 18 hours because it got dark on us.

We really enjoyed our round of golf at Wild Laurel. The course is in very good condition. Very friendly staff.

Pace of play was good for a Friday combined with slower players allowing play through. Fairways better than last year but can use some improvement. Ice was provided but no water was available on the course. Geens small with a crown which can make for tricky putting.

Beautiful golf coarse in the mountains always a great time over with friends and good layout has it's challenges and best part only a 15 minute drive from my house.

Course flat and straight forward. Restaurant closed lack of staffing. No water on course over 90 degrees. Course staff non carring.
