Smokey Mountain Rain
A wet day. Great little mountain course. Beautiful surroundings. Each hole different with its own little challenges. Good short course for women. Bring bug spray.
Very playable course
White tees at 6,000 yards was very enjoyable. Only one hole with hidden fairway and green. Nice layout. bunkers well cared for. Leaves tended to hide the ball a few times this time of year. Greens excellent.
Great Value... and beautiful
Very lovely place to play. Friendly staff, pace of play quick. Greens very good to excellent. Some sparse grass on a tee box or two but nothing serious. Enjoyed round very much. Great value and Very beautiful this time of year. Will definitely be back.
Golfgirl87
Beautiful place, course is a bit rough from bad summer and lack of rain, but coming back. One of my favorite spots, must play!
A Super Day
Course and staff were great.
Prices not like 'resort' prices.
Love Laurel Valley!
Laurel Valley is a phenomenal golf course. From the friendliness of the staff, to the condition of the golf course and greens, to the wonderful views of the Great Smoky Mountains, you will not be disappointed. A bonus, is the many cute and beautiful cabins that are available for rent, right on the course! My friends and I golf here frequently,. We drive from the Maryville area because you just can't do better than this golf course!! I highly recommend you try it out!!
Average at best
The course itself is average to slightly above. Greens were in good condition, the scenery is nice with mountain views. There was no drinking water on the course and no beverage cart. I had not brought anything with me and it was a very hot day, so the lack of even a water container or fountain was dangerous in the high heat and humidity. I will not go back.
Beautiful peaceful valley
Need to get-a-way from the hustle and noise, then grab your clubs and head to Laurel Valley. You will find a little bit of Heaven on Earth when you cast your eyes upon this golf course and the beauty that surrounds it's 18 holes. Some of natures animals may try to join your game(wild turkey, coyote, or deer) all have crossed my path while playing. A GREAT place to relax while the course challenges your game skills, and Nature will challenge your listening skills.
Very picturesque!
Always enjoy playing at Laurel Valley. Very picturesque views of the Smokies! And got a great deal with GolfNow.com!
Scenic Course
Front nine has tight fairways. Almost passed on this course due to critical comments from previous golfers. I feel they judged this course too harshly. I am glad I played Laurel Valley and will definitely play it again.
Lovely Course Nestled in a Mountainous Valley
Wonderful scenic course with great views. Played on a busy Saturday and the pace of play was fine. One par3 hole Iis 232 yards but from an elevated height which is challenging but fun.
Hot deal value over priced for the value!
We felt the hot deal value was over priced for the value of the course and course conditions. Tee boxes and fairways in rought condition, greens were fairly good overall.
course condition.
The fairways, sand traps and most tee boxes are in poor condition. Greens are small but in good condition.
Great value
I think Laurel Valley is about as nice of a course as you will get for the money. Beautiful.
Scenic course.
Fairways were very dry and the ball ran quite a bit. Greens were in good shape but fairly slow.overall a good value for the money.definitely a course that you play more you should score real well on. Only a couple of real challenging holes. A very short course even from the back tees. I am curious to know what the course record is? Probably pretty low.
good condition
The course is in the best condition I have seen it in a long time.Greens were in great shape and the fairways are coming in nicely.A good thing to see is crews working on fairways and greens.
Bob
Have loved this course for many years, but with no rain and austerity programs in place, the course was not in good condition!
Good Course
Only problem was the knats or bugs that surrounds the course. Staff tried to assist in getting some relief however, bug spray or off did not get rid of these swarming black flies or bugs.
Laurel Valley G C
Nice Course, ranger needs to keep groups moving better. Some blind holes from the fairways.
Scenic
A nice experience with a scenic view. Nice challenge, but not too hard. Course marked so first timers could find their way easily. Fairways are firm, greens are receptive and well kept. Great value on a budget. Would recommend course.
