The golf staff and the customers at this course were all very friendly. The course itself is well maintained and a fair test of our skills. The greens are the most challenging aspect of the course, using elevation to challenge the golfers. The traps could use some new sand and maintenance but were tolerable. The tees, fairways and rough were all well trimmed and playable. This is a gem of a golf course for Northern Michigan and one that I would visit again.

I’ve played here with my husband before and it was wonderful. It’s a great course! This second experience was not so great. I raved about this place to my friends, so we went for a 12:20 tee time. We had barely tee’d off and we had a group right behind us and then right after them another group immediately tee’d off. We felt very rushed and didn’t feel we could play a proper round of golf. On top of that, they had mowers and maintenance on almost every hole. Forgive me but, I didn’t think noon was an appropriate time to be doing lawn care, especially with the double booking of golf groups.
