About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Disappointing
Golf carts were dirty, on Father's Day?! Take a minute and hose off the mud and dirt. Cart paths are a disaster. There has been no attempt to level or fill dozens of potholes since opening in April.
Horrible
Played on a Thursday at 630 and it was PACKED, why? We had to wait for 3 separate groups before us when we tried to tee off. Again, it is a Thursday at 630… why are there 100 people going off the same hole? Horrible course management. Played here about 2 weeks ago and it wasn’t an issue at all… what happened?

Course needs help
Cart paths were horrible, pot holes EVERTYWHERE, fairways could have been better kept and some of the greens were in bad shape.Seemed like the course was over booked, waited on EVERY hole.

Great
Awesome well kept course, not too easy but not terribly challenging. Will definitely be going back!
Nice day but left a birthday present in the cart
Saturday at 936 am. Cart#10. The day was great. Sunny hot. Met two nice kids that we were grouped with. Pace was a little slow but ok. Course in good shape overall. BUT left my new gift, a garmin , clipped to the cart. Left a message and called but no reply yet. Hoping the cart kids come through for me. Not the best way to remember that round.
Pretty nice course
Due for a green cutting,but there was ran the night before. Despite slower greens,they rolled true. Course is green and lush. Glad 17th green is open!
Rougher shape this year
Play this course at least once a year. Very disappointed in course. Greens were slow and rough. Tee boxes long and shaggy. No ranger to keep pace. Very slow....

Not worth the money
Awful lack of maintenance. Terrible greens full of dead patches, tee boxes were a mess, uneven, overgrown,, and fairways were brown.

Overpriced
Even for the weekend, based on the course itself this course is not worth $50 weekend rate. Greens were shaggy, 17th hole still does not have a green, many tee boxes were overgrown, not mowed. Disappointed.

Needs care
This course seems neglected layout is good t boxes poor grass and needs cutting. What was number 17 have the hole set up in the fairway in stead of the green. Regular price was 45 I paid 37. I would only play this again if it was like 22 or less

Slow
New golfer here. And this was slow for me. No point in making a tee time since we still started almost 30 minutes after despite being here wayyyy early. Do you like 6 hour rounds? Then this course is for you. Might even be longer. I’d let you know, but I’m still waiting to play so no definite answer yet. I will not be playing here on the weekends ever again.
