Golden Hawk Golf Club
About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

My wife and I play this course at least 5 to ten times a year! Course is always in excellent condition! One of the best golf courses around for the money!
A Little Worried
While the course was in good condition, the cart paths are still in dire need of repair. You have to drive around all the deep pot holes on the grass which is killing it. The exterior of the club house needs some TLC. looked up and saw 2-3 foot high weeds / trees growing out of the gutters. I'll still go back again because I like the course but, I hope things get fixed soon.
Course in great shape
Course was in awesome shape and you can’t beat the price for 18 holes!
Best in the Area
I always like playing here because you can count on the course conditions being very nice, The greens are a little slow but, one can adjust to that. It is also a good value for the money compared to others that I drive by to get here.
Great course, but a 4x4 quad instead of a Golf Cart is needed.
My ( our ) only complaint is the conditions of the pathways. They are bumpier then a Michigan Freeway. How about some Gravel, or better yet, asphalt?!? Everything else was excellent.
Memorial Day Emergency Round
Showed up at another course day after tee time first
time using new ap (ugh). So had to book somewhere close and booked this course. Got off quick and had a nice round under 4 hours, rough was a bit long, greens a bit slow and you have to get use to the power lines crossing some shots but overall a decent course.
Reliable
I can always count on the course being in good shape.
Although the greens were pretty slow, I got use to them. What really made my day was I found wild leeks(ramps) between the 5th & 6th hole. Pace of play was good and the hot dog at the turn was the best!
I enjoy playing Golden Hawk golf course
The course was in good condition for early May. I have played the course many times. It is a tough track with forced carry’s over water. Also you can use multiple clubs off the tee on par 4s and 5s. I will play it again.
Good Solid Course
Golden Hawk is a good solid course. The layout is relatively straightforward with a couple of interesting holes such as a driveable par 4. Staff is very accommodating.
Great
Golden Hawk is always a great hometown course. Challenging with bunkers, trees, ponds. Always a blast. Super friendly staff and good lounge.
