Golden Hawk Golf Club
About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Course in great shape
Course was in awesome shape and you can’t beat the price for 18 holes!
Best in the Area
I always like playing here because you can count on the course conditions being very nice, The greens are a little slow but, one can adjust to that. It is also a good value for the money compared to others that I drive by to get here.
Great course, but a 4x4 quad instead of a Golf Cart is needed.
My ( our ) only complaint is the conditions of the pathways. They are bumpier then a Michigan Freeway. How about some Gravel, or better yet, asphalt?!? Everything else was excellent.
Memorial Day Emergency Round
Showed up at another course day after tee time first
time using new ap (ugh). So had to book somewhere close and booked this course. Got off quick and had a nice round under 4 hours, rough was a bit long, greens a bit slow and you have to get use to the power lines crossing some shots but overall a decent course.
Reliable
I can always count on the course being in good shape.
Although the greens were pretty slow, I got use to them. What really made my day was I found wild leeks(ramps) between the 5th & 6th hole. Pace of play was good and the hot dog at the turn was the best!
I enjoy playing Golden Hawk golf course
The course was in good condition for early May. I have played the course many times. It is a tough track with forced carry’s over water. Also you can use multiple clubs off the tee on par 4s and 5s. I will play it again.
Good Solid Course
Golden Hawk is a good solid course. The layout is relatively straightforward with a couple of interesting holes such as a driveable par 4. Staff is very accommodating.
Great
Golden Hawk is always a great hometown course. Challenging with bunkers, trees, ponds. Always a blast. Super friendly staff and good lounge.

1:00 tee time were told at check in that leagues start at 3:00 and we wouldn't be able to make the turn by 3:00 said golf now had been advised.had prepaid so we're told we were on our own.
7/31/17 round
Had a great time! We are repeaters. The staff is always friendly. Asked for two cups of ice and received them with a smile. The Turkey reuben was excellent. Even parred thev18th hole! Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
Seems like a sleeper!
We have played this course before but this round stood above many others. The weather was perfect. Our tee time was 11:56 on a Sunday, so pace of play was suspect. Well, my partner & I completed 18 holes in just under 3.5 hours, the course was in very good shape. This course is plenty challenging for all skill levels depending on the tee boxes you choose.
Pin placement ridiculous
The course was in good shape for the amount of rain we have had, cart paths were very muddy but the course was OK. The speed of the greens did not match where the pin placements were the day we played. Greens were fast and true but almost every pin placement was placed on a downslope or upslope and impossible to get close to. Probably the reason it took 5 hours and 10 minutes to play. We were backed up on every hole (two to three groups on every hole). I have played this course at least 20 times in the past and never ran across these conditions before. The course maybe needs to look at the pin placement to help address the slow play.
