About
Sugar Creek Golf Course offers some of the best scenery of any course in the St. Louis area. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the course's elevated tees. The course opened in 1990 with several improvements made in the following years. The layout is a manageable length at just under 6,100 yards. It is player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence but there are also challenges in store for more advanced players. Water only comes into play on one hole but there are stands of trees lining the narrow fairways. The golf course will generously reward accuracy and good strategy though it is not overly punishing if you are slightly errant. In addition to the course, Sugar Creek G.C. also boasts an expansive practice range with 35 hitting stations.

Super fun course with a great layout, but they have ALOT of work to do on their tee boxes. They should not be charging $40 on a weekday with dirt tee boxes.
Slow Play
51/2 hour round. Very slow tee times 10 minutes apart. Tee Boxes hard as a rock. Had to stay off all of the fairways
Augustinian Alumni Tournament
We were looking for a home course for our Alumni Association when we came across Sugar Creek. We are mostly in our 70’s and looking for a friendly course. We couldn’t have asked for a better home than Sugar Creek. The staff is friendly and helpful beyond compare. A real joy.
The course was in great shape. Easily playable yet still challenging. Beautiful surroundings and great vistas. Greens were immaculate and challenging.
The course, staff and weather (if provided by Sugar Creek) was perfect. Sorkis’s Webbe and his staff gave us a great venue and a great day!
Good come back following flood.
Fun track. Friendly staff. They are doing a very good job of recovering from some flooding. Not all the way back yet but it’s getting there. My only complaint is that the tee boxes were like concrete. Please water them.
Very slow pace on Sunday. Obviously we need rain. Other than that, it was great. Greens were awesome.

Had a wonderful time playing your course. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back.
Best Staff
The staff are always friendly and accommodating! The club house is always stocked with great golf gear and the bar is always stocked with exactly what we want to drink! It's a great course with the perfect amount of difficulty with beautiful landscaped greens. I love this course!
Great Course to play
The course has a great layout and it has been getting updated now over the past year. Has some challenging holes with cool elevation changes. Has some opportunities on tee boxes still, but fairways and greens have all been worked on and in great shape.

Beautiful track, and a great use of the elevation. Course was in great shape, even considering the hard hand they’ve been dealt. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t recommend more!
This course had an awesome layout
I played this course on the 8th of August. The staff was extremely friendly, and the price for the course was a steal considering the conditions of it. The fairways for this course are gorgeous and are very well kept up. The carts are also very well maintained. The only places this may could use some work are the tee boxes, the cart path, and the greens. I met the owner on hole 4 and he was as nice as can be. Overall for the price, this is definitely the best course you will find in this area. I will most definitely be coming back as the course is only improving.

Best public course in STL
Probably the best public course I've played in STL for a great price. I played on a Wednesday so the pace was perfect, fairways, greens, and tee boxes were all in great shape especially after the big flood that came through last week. I will play this course many more times for sure 👍👍
