About
Sugar Creek Golf Course offers some of the best scenery of any course in the St. Louis area. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the course's elevated tees. The course opened in 1990 with several improvements made in the following years. The layout is a manageable length at just under 6,100 yards. It is player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence but there are also challenges in store for more advanced players. Water only comes into play on one hole but there are stands of trees lining the narrow fairways. The golf course will generously reward accuracy and good strategy though it is not overly punishing if you are slightly errant. In addition to the course, Sugar Creek G.C. also boasts an expansive practice range with 35 hitting stations.

Fun course with unique par 3s
Great course! Only complaint is the repairs being done on the edge of greens, but I’m sure they’ll be perfect next time out.
Long wait
Shouldn't have to wait 1/2 hour for a hamburger at the turn. Besides that, we still come back year after year.

Waiting a half hour for a hamburger is ridiculous. Besides that, we keep on coming back every year.
Wait a little longer to play here
The fairways looked pretty decent but tee boxes were terrible and all par 3’s were at the same spot about 90 yards. Car paths need some TLC as well. This course has some potential and I will give it another chance later this year.
Super fun course with a great layout, but they have ALOT of work to do on their tee boxes. They should not be charging $40 on a weekday with dirt tee boxes.
Slow Play
51/2 hour round. Very slow tee times 10 minutes apart. Tee Boxes hard as a rock. Had to stay off all of the fairways
Augustinian Alumni Tournament
We were looking for a home course for our Alumni Association when we came across Sugar Creek. We are mostly in our 70’s and looking for a friendly course. We couldn’t have asked for a better home than Sugar Creek. The staff is friendly and helpful beyond compare. A real joy.
The course was in great shape. Easily playable yet still challenging. Beautiful surroundings and great vistas. Greens were immaculate and challenging.
The course, staff and weather (if provided by Sugar Creek) was perfect. Sorkis’s Webbe and his staff gave us a great venue and a great day!
Good come back following flood.
Fun track. Friendly staff. They are doing a very good job of recovering from some flooding. Not all the way back yet but it’s getting there. My only complaint is that the tee boxes were like concrete. Please water them.
Very slow pace on Sunday. Obviously we need rain. Other than that, it was great. Greens were awesome.

Had a wonderful time playing your course. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back.
Best Staff
The staff are always friendly and accommodating! The club house is always stocked with great golf gear and the bar is always stocked with exactly what we want to drink! It's a great course with the perfect amount of difficulty with beautiful landscaped greens. I love this course!
