Good Course Layout
The course has a really good layout. A good mixture of difficult but fair and a few easy holes to keep you in play. The Greens however were kinda in rough shape, but it is early in the season. I used the GolfNOW App and was able to get a really good discount to play at the time I wanted (11;53am). I would definitely recommend playing this course. I will be playing here again.
Nice!
This course has really come a long way! It's in very good shape and the pace of play was great. Played 18 holes in 3 hours.
Old oaks course
For a fall afternoon...couldn't beat the price, but it could use a little attention.
Rough shape
The whole course is in very bad shape. A lot of bare spots in the Fairway and a lot of dead spots on the greens.
Old Ridge Old Oaks Never again
Course was in terrible shape, fairways had many patches of dirt and not too much grass, same with the rough.
Beautiful course but….
Teed off 12:56 pm
Course was in great shape… the only draw back was sprinklers running on the 2nd and 3 rd fairways during round… very inconvenient
$48 for this course?
Sure $48 isn’t much for golf nowadays (with a GolfNow deal) but holy crap. I’m surprised the carts even made it through 18. Then on top of that I’m hitting perfect fairway shots just to follow up with almost an impossible shot from dry dead dirt and grass fairways. Supposedly I was on the not as nice 18 hole course but they kindly put everyone on old oaks because they had a golf outing on the other. They didn’t spare the tee times though for everyone they moved and I sat For 10-15 min at each next hole waiting to tee off because they overbooked so much. Maybe with all that money you’re bringing in you can turn on the sprinklers for the fairway. First and last time golfing here. Save your money and try one of the many others. I golfed Sycamore hills a few days later for the same place and wow was that night and day
Course condition
The worst course ever. Greens are in really bad shape, fairway is even worse shape. Sitting water all over the course. No drainage.. they need to shut it down for at least 2 years .
Old oaks
Old oaks course, The greens were in terrible condition. It looked like they had some kind of fungus or some thing. The course was in bad shape. Not worth the money. They need to work hard to get it back to ok..
Nice day, seen the course in better condition
We had a nice day, pace of play was good. Tee boxes and greens had some rough spots, tee boxes were dry and overplayed, greens were missing grass in some areas.
DJ
Fairways look like they haven’t seen water since 1995. They pushed everyone off the other 18 for a golf outing so the course was insanely slow. 2 hours for 5 holes at the start…
