Enjoy the value
Have played a few times. Have great deals on weekdays. Decent length course, enjoy how the holes play despite little elevation change. Course is drying out pretty substantially as the summer rolls, aestheticaly not great but usually the front half of holes. Greens still look OK. Cart paths are pretty rough, which is becoming too common. Id think a Cart path to me would be the easiest item to maintain on a GC.. crushed cement. Maybe price idk. Realized on last trip borders a jail.. different. Keep the deals and I'll keep coming back. Patrons don't seem too willing on play through. A little intertwine with course 2 - Marsh Oaks, nothing burdensome.
Zero maintenance
Used to be on a league here many years ago. Course was always enjoyable. Played here twice this year. Marsh Oaks was unkept like nothing I've ever seen. Old Oaks was like playing on a cracked desert floor. I understand we've had little rain this year. But water SOMETHING please. The greens literally had cracks on them as they've been neglected to be watered. Said to see a decent track gone to crap
Poor course conditions
This course usually is a decent course for the price but their course is about 30-40 percent dead grass and dirt. Huge portions of many greens are just dirt piles as well. The biggest problem is that they have nlrefused to bring down prices even though the course is in a state of total disrepair. I would not suggest playing this course without knowledge that it has been revived from its current condition.
Course has seen better days
I used to live in New Baltimore and play this course frequently. I have never seen this course look so terrible and play so badly. The greens had fissure cracks from not being watered. Most of the fairways were cow pastures. Hitting into the greens was like hitting into a parking lot and you could watch your ball bounce 10-15 feet off the first bounce.
Would not recommend.
A Good Round
This golf course consists of 2 courses. We played the Marsh Oaks. It was mostly in good shape. The Greens were in excellent shape and quick. The staff is very friendly and its a good place to have a meal after your round. The girls in the bar were very helpful and friendly.
We will go back.
I'd go back, but the course needs work!
First off, the Google maps directions told me to go to the next city over and directed me to a community parks and recreational center, not cool. Next, because of that I was late for my already prepaid tee time, luckily the worker was nice to let us tee off when the next people went through. The course itself needs an extreme amount of work, but it was fun and cheap, and the bunkers and waters were fun and competitive.
Probably never again.
Greens were in terrible condition. So many ball marks present that it doesn’t look like anyone repaired their marks for months. Looked like the surface of the moon. Fairways were decent. Halfway house not open, only saw beverage cart girl twice. Overall not completely horrible, but green definitely needed work.
Jabdilla old oaks
Availability’s on short notice on a Saturday is a plus.there was an outing finishing up last hole in front of me.the front 9 went pretty quickly after that and the back was ok also.the hole course 36 holes has seen little if any improvements of the last 15 years.many of the greens were dry and cracked, I know it’s hard to find help nowadays ☹️
