no surprises
Nothing new to report. Everything was good! The course is coming back nicely after all the rain we had earlier in the spring.
Disappointed
When we arrived the front nine had 3 foursomes waiting on the first tee and we were only a twosome. The starter said we could go off the back first and then play the front since there was no one booked on the front after 1:00pm. When we got to the front after playing the back nine, there were 3 more foursomes waiting! We had to play the back nine again. It still took 5 hours. Also, the course has not recovered from all the rainy weather. We were disappointed.
Wet & Rough
Very mushy due to all the rain lately. Will be great after it dries out. One thing that really needs attention are the cart paths. You need to wear a kidney belt because all the large pot holes.
Man is it wet. Grass is tall because they can’t mow. Great course but needs to dry out....it’s like that everywhere this year.

Course was wet from all the recent rain and busy with an outing and perfect weather. Overall a nice day. always enjoy Oakridge.
Fun with friends.
Had a great time. Played with family and friends. Course in very good condition. Nice greens. Friendly staff.
Nice place
I have to say this place was overall pretty good. Been here before and will continue to play here. Close to home, close enough to the prison that you can hear all the inmates in the yard and makes me appreciate my freedom even more lol. Course conditions were just okay but with the amount of rain we've had lately it could have been much worse. Didn't see to many staff members out and about so I cannot rate their performance.
Good Round
Actually golfed the Marsh. Course was wet from 2 days of rain but otherwise in good shape. This is my go to course and I always have a great time out there.

I could play this course everyday. Nothing to complain about except the cart paths. The course itself is in very good condition and the staff is amazing.
Nice Tract
We teed off at 10:57 am and enjoyed a nice leisurely round. No one held us up and no one was pushing us. The staff was very nice as usual. We will probably play it again next week.
Hot Sunday Stroll
We teed off at 1:30 pm and thought it would be crowded. What a pleasant surprise. Our round only took 3 1/2 hours! The pace of play was excellent. Recent heavy rains have hurt the terrain but, I'm sure that will be corrected. Overall, it was a great afternoon.
Overpriced
Course was not in great shape. Cart paths awful and parking lot awful. The over all upkeep of the course not very good. I would not play this course again for that price.
An enjoyable round at Marsh Oaks
I had a very enjoyable round this afternoon on the Marsh Oaks course at Oak Ridge G.C. The pace of play was really good (3 hrs for solo play) and the course conditions were very good. This course is a good value.
Nice day at the course
This is my go to course because of the location and the layout itself.
Sneaky difficult course
1st time playing marsh oaks side. Leave your driver at home and you’ll score fine. Greens in good shape and challenging. Booked a hot deal for $18 and feel like I got a great deal.
