Cape Royal Golf Club - Queen/King

Tough course and lots of water. Greens are hard and fast. Fairways are cut to low. Overall good course, I would play it again.

Course is weeds. Fairway and rough are the same “grass,” the greens too. Needs a total redo.

Golfed with a nice member. Staff was nice too, just not premium or what you may hope for.

Played Queen/King and enjoyed so much I decided to play Prince! Even with the improvement construction on Prince it was still very playable . I’m a member at a different course in Fort Myers but when I want to change it up this will be my new go to! Will definitely play again!

Royal Tee is in good shape and the pace was pretty good we finished 18 in less than 4 hours. plenty of challenges.

The course was still very wet after a rain 3 days ago. The tee boxes, rough, and fairways have bare spots and weeds. It is not in as good a shape as several other courses you could choose. Play it if you get a great deal, otherwise skip it.

Not my best round, but it was not the course's fault. We enjoyed the fellowship and being outdoors, I had to leave early because of another engagement but all in all a good time..

I really liked the course layout, playing the Prince and Queen nines. Holes are interesting and varied with good use of water hazards and bunkers. The course condition was unfortunately only average showing lots of coarse grasses invading and some bare spots on the greens and fairways. They were working on the irrigation system for the closed King nine, so maybe they recognize the need to polish up this rough diamond.

We had a great time . . . it was fun . . . a little steamy . . . but lots of fun. The greens were fantastic and the speed helped us drain a half dozen putts. The food from the pub was great, and the restaurant was nice and cool.
