Cape Royal Golf Club - Queen/King

Course 1st 9 holes(Queen) in fairways and grrens in good to great conditions. Back 9 (King) not so favorable faorways in good condition. Greens and tee boxes weeds and dirt spots on both

Overall enjoyed course and staff was wonderful. Hopefully by end rainy season King course will be just as good as Queen.

Great course great rate definitely going back. But you can play it for the same price that golf now tries to get you to pay. Just go to the course and pay don’t go through golf now you pay extra in fees

We were paired with some folks so we parted ways with them after 9 holes and then we raced around the course.

They were doing a lot of catching up, a lot of drinking and they were having a blast but they were also very slow. Nice people, but we were trying to get out of the heat!

The fairways have good grass in most places and the greens are pretty good and fairly fast and true.

Great course. However I wasted $25 today. Barely made it through 9 holes...because 1 guy infant of me decided to practice putt on every green after every missed putt as well as drop a ball after every missed shot....i was playing by myself and he didn't even have the courtesy to let me through.. Took me 2 hours to play 9 holes

Great layout with lots of strategy. Could be improved course conditions however

Visiting fort Myers and had a great day of golf! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everybody I talked to was nice. Fun course good time.

I like playing this course, it is challenging and the greens are decent. Unfortunate today it was cart paths only because of water. It was really hot to do that much walking. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

I was ready to play the old Royal Tee after so much work has been put into the course. I really don’t see where the course was improved on. I thought the tees were uneven with clumps of grass, sand traps were mud and it had not just rained but obviously not raked out at the beginning of the day, the fairways were okay and the roughs were in good shape and tough to get out of, as they should be. I thought the greens were good and interesting; they were slow but consistent through the course.

We just had a deluge the day before so we had to stay on the cart path, and that was tough for us. But they could not have done otherwise. If affected my stars above because it slowed the pace a bit. The greens were great, and the grub was great. Just take plenty of water with you!

We were paired up with another two-some . They were incredibly slow. It affected our game It took us an hour longer than normal. We asked to go off alone and they said no. For the first time ever playing there the starter asked us to speed tings up. That just added to the frustration.

Greens were in great shape . . . really nice. Fairways were good, not the best but good. The Caloosa Club was excellent. We had hotdogs and cheeseburgers and a BLT and they were really good.

Take plenty to drink because they are not putting out their water and I really got too hot on the back 9. We finally saw a cart girl at 16, thank goodness.

The course and staff are awesome. Fairways are tight in places. Very challenging. I would play everyday if i could.
