Golfer Reviews
getting better
We played queen to king.
The course has come a long way over the past few years. The greens on queen are not bad but greens on prince need a lot of work. Staff are wonderful.
Management is on the right track. Keep it up.
Staff
Much improved. Best value in town.
Cape Royal reopened just under a year ago (previously known as Royal Tee), and to be honest it was in really poor condition. I got on for really cheap when they first opened, and I left after 12 holes because everything on the course was that bad.
Fast forward to now, and it's like night and day. The staff has done a fantastic job in reconditioning the course. Tee boxes are in great shape. The fairways look great, where a year ago they were ridden with weeds. With the exception on one hole where there was some repair work being done on it, the greens are in great shape and roll true. My buddy and I had a great time on the course, and definitely look forward to playing there again.
Great job, staff, and thanks for giving us another good option in Cape Coral.
Old Royal Tee
This course a in better condition than while called Royal Tee. According to one employee there is more improvement projects in the works, including bunkers being upgraded with drains installed.
My only criticism is the tee boxes need attention now.
I would strongly recommend this course
This course has some challenging holes. Ball placement is critical.
Greens are rolling good.
Restaurant folks were very nice.
I will play this course again soon.
confusion about booking data and teetime
booking data were not available (a Hot Deal Teetime) and it took several minutes and prints to finde my file and a solution --that is just what I thought
- But although i was 25 min prior to my booked teetime at the golf course , the starter told me that he has send "my flight" already out ... 30 minutes earlier and as a threesome ....
Lots of water!
Layout nice on Prince And King courses. Very active place with carts driving everywhere. Seemed like homeowners could just drive out onto course to get places. Otherwise course in nice shape. Played in 4 hours. Would play again.
Good condition
I played as yes with a threesome they paired me with and it was a relaxed & enjoyable round. The course was in great condition and the greens rolled pretty true.
The staff was very helpful and the cart I drove was like new. I highly recommend you give this 27 hole gem a try. We played queen to prince and there is also a 9 hole king course as well.
Great Value
Top end facilities and staff. Greens were quick and mostly in good shape, except for a a few that need some work on the edges. Would definitely play again.
