Great Course
Wonderful staff and course. The course is well maintained and the club house is well maintained. Every staff member has been friendly and helpful.
Bumpy
Nice course, well maintained and good challenge. Would have preferred to walk due to the extremely torn up cart paths. So very in need of repair.
Slopes and hills
Nice course - slopes and hills make it challenging with unpredictable ball landings
An excellent golf course.
Challenging and beautiful course. I like it more each time I play there.
Great place to play
Friendly staff great course little tight in areas but well maintained. Pro shop even loaned us spray sun tAn lotion we forgot. Wii be back
delightful
first time playing this course nice setting trees houses far enough away to not b a problem but close enuf 2 line fairways sand hill cranes w babies
Nice layout, but ...
Greens slow and vary from hole to hole. Under-staffed: 1girl running pro shop and bar and grill. There was another girl who was being trained shadowing the girl in charge but she did nothing to help. Took 20 min at the turn to get hot dogs and and a beer.
Feels like Up North
Very nice course with some elevation. Was in very good shape fpr November. I would go back.
Beautiful Course & Challenging Lay-out!
Great Course and Super Friendly Staff in Pro Shop and on the course Maintenance. Will go back and Play again!
Course is in great shape and fantastic value for the money. Loved playing there.

Well kept, playable track
Good value, professionally run...Whispering Pines
is working hard to provide value in a competitive area.
Don't hesitate to give it a try!
cant wait to go back!
This course is probably one of the better courses I've played. This course has a lot to offer. Tough tee shots, if your driver is off when you play here, you better leave it in the bag. Fairways are really tight on some of the holes.
Accuracy is a must. The green are tricky. When I played they were fast, and some of the greens had some crazy breaks.
I plan to play this course again this year, and hopefully years to come.
Beautiful course that's extremely challenging.
I was surprised that such a course that offers such diverse challenges could be tucked away in a residential setting. It is well-maintained and difficult but manageable. Power will not be a successful approach. Precise course management and shot planning will provide the best opportunity for success. It helps to be well-practiced with all of your irons and putting is a skill to be mastered. Hit it straight and with accuracy because most holes are not forgiving.
Very Challenging Course
Drove about an hour just to get to the course, but it was well worth it.
tough sledding
The extra rain this year really tightened up the driving area. I dont remember there being so little room on the right and left sides of the fairway, It was a fair test nonetheless.
Awesome course, just like up North
This has to be one of the most beautiful courses that I have ever golfed on. Pristine, absolutely beautiful, will come back in a heartbeat. Excellent money value, my husband and I really enjoyed it.
Very nice, challenging course.
Beautiful course. Only downside is that there are homes lining nearly every fairway.
So so course
The course wasnt worth the money in my opinion. The club house staff was really nice but it took a while to get things rolling due to the big outing they had going on. The cart we got had broken plastic which suggests that they don't put the money back into the equipment. When we hit the turn the ranger told us we were playing " to slow and if this were a busier day he would ask us to leave". I thought that was rude. I've played many courses throuought the surrounding counties here in Livingston, Washtenaw, Ingham, and SW Oakland. Never once have I been told that. Not even when I played at Oak point with a friend. I won't go back solely because of that. It ruined the day for my party of four. We go to play golf and relax. Not to be rushed through the holes because they are more concerned with the outing they booked.
Goes on My Favorite List
Wife and I played Whispering Pines for the 1st time and really really enjoyed it. We both love courses with trees and Whispering Pines has lots of those. We will definitely be back. Course was in good shape. Greens weren't as fast as Dunham Hlls but were very fair and challenging. Really enjoyed the variety of holes. I like the fact that on a couple of the shorter par 4s you need to leave the driver in the bag. Note for the ladies - Blind tee shot - Wife hit good drive on 12th (I think) only to find she reached the pond that isn't visible from tee and cuts across entire fairway. Only draw back was the pace of play, a bit too slow but definitely not enough to keep us away.
