Great course but...
One of my favorite courses in metro Detroit. Play here many times a year but Saturday pace of play was so bad 5 and a half hours fir 18 holes in unacceptable when paying 100 bucks. No ranger to make the group in ahead that had 3 empty holes in front of them . We were at least 8 deep on every tee box and sometimes 12 deep with 3 groups waiting. This is unacceptable for this course. It's not the norm but I don't expect this at the Golden Fox.

I truly enjoy playing this course. You will use all the clubs in your bag. Greens are firm but fair. The rough isn’t long but challenging and thick. Your lie will affect the shot you can play. Find fairways and putt well you can score. Nice to see some nicer courses on GOLFNOW with more affordable rates.
Would recommend
Super nice, not perfect. I had a deal, I would not want to pay $105 to play here - maybe $75-$85. Greens were fast and in great shape, except the par 3’s that were ripped by divots. Tee boxes were average at best. Super nice, I would not pay $100+ tho.

The course was in excellent shape. Staff members are extremely friendly and are willing to resolve any issues that might arise. Tee times were spaced so that we didn't have to wait. Green speeds were fast but fair. Thanks for the experience.

Nice afternoon Round!
Had a great time for a buddy’s birthday round. We’ll definitely be back. Great track!
This course is great for all kinds of skill levels, feels open and gives the freedom off the tee but if you miss the fairway, the roughs are thick and heavy could penalize the approach and greens are fast. Overall good track but price is little too steep during summer.
