Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Can't beat the price for a very good course
I'm a local, so I get a county rate, but for the money, you can't find a better course around the area. 4 holes with water, makes for challenges and two on the Par 3's.
A recent drought caused a few dry patches, but in general, the fairways and greens are well kept. (Just wish people replaced their divots and ball marks, and rake the traps! some well-placed trees for a few of the ladies Tees. But a fun course to play. the irrigation system is being upgrades, but doesn't affect play. Staff is always great, and the onsite restaurant can't be beat with Culinary Arts Students in training. Great staff there, as well (Cuisine on the Green). we go often when NOT golfing...friendly vibe. Local courses (LBI National and Ocean Acres are pretty pricey)
Excellent
Great place, excellent conditions, staff is awesome!
Could be better
Need rangers to address the slow players.
Rough is thick and to high. Making it hard to find and then hit your ball. If the rough were a couple inches lower the pace of play should improve some.
Atlantis the real deal
Tremendous experience yesterday on Atlantis golf course. So beautiful the fairways is on great shape, the greens very uhfff very nice. In general I’m enjoying so much. Encourage the personal to keep that friendly personalities. They are very professional.
Great course!
Course is in immaculate condition. The only drawback are the mosquitoes and green head flies. Other than that, fantastic course. I was blown away as to the condition of the course. Absolutely beautiful. I’ll head back in the fall when the bugs aren’t as bad.
Challenging
George Fazio design. Challenging layout with mature trees, elevation changes, water and bunker hazzards. Gas carts, no GPS. Greens with nice grass but slower than I'm used to.
Good Golf good food good times!!!
Nice County course plays fair
medium to fast greens tricky at times…
Some narrow fairways with PGA,US Open
type rough… keep it straight!
Gr8 eats & brews too!!
Decent Course, but What? NO rain policy???
Check in was easy, nice folks at the Pro Shop, great little grill/bar on property. After finishing 9 holes, and with no rain forecaster until later in the day, the sky unexpectedly opened up with heavy rains for an hour. During that time, our 4some went to the grill and ate lunch while waiting for the rain to stop so we could finish our round. After the rain stopped, the sun came out and it was hot and beautiful again. However, Atlantis locked up all their carts and closed the course for the rest of the day. Okay, I get it, the course flooded that’s fine…..so we inquired about their rain check policy to finish our round later (as Golf Now instructs you to do) after paying $67 each for 18 HOLES. The Pro Shop stated they don’t have a rain policy (after collecting your money) and added “Sorry”. Huh? No rain policy? How long have you been open? Doesn’t seem too fair after paying for 18 holes. Do better Atlantis….
Great public course
Great conditions tee to green. Friendly staff. Fantastic restaurant.
Very poor condition
I have been playing here more often over the past year and the coarse was in extremely poor condition. Tee boxes overgrown, fairways seemed like rough, rough was completely unmanageable… my foursome lost at least 6 balls in the rough just off the fairway. I was shocked that this coarse being in this condition during the peak of the playing season.
I will not be playing this coarse again any time soon. For reference, I’m a 7 handicap.
