Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis

The starter was rude to multiple groups in front and behind us. The concessions/ restaurant closed at 2:00, leaving our afternoon tee time without refreshment

Slow greens, but if you hit it close you should make those putts! But 15ft or further and it’s a slow painful miss!

This course is a great value. It’s a long course that challenges your game on every hole. Very scenic and just a fun course to play. Would recommend for sure.

Got to course just in time for rain, pace slow due to rain, but course in great shape. would play there anytime, lots of wildlife!

The greens were VERY slow. The round was 5 hours long because the course management hid every pin they could behind and as close to a sand trap as possible.

This required multiple Sand shots by the two groups in front of us. The round could have easily be reduced by 30 minutes if the pins had been located in different positions on the green.

It is a Saturday and the course is full. The course management should do everything possible to speed play up.

I play alot if courses and gor the price this us a great value. They made the course tougher by minimixi g the fairway width and widening the rough. This made the course a few strokes tougher.

Made mid afternoon tee time for 3 golfers. Arrived an hour early after driving in from Philly. Checked in with starter. Took some practice on chipping green and iron only range. Clubhouse was closed so 2 of our 3 went for takeout to the restaurant. Service was fast as there was literally no one there (outdoor seating only). Took for to go.

At tee time we carted you to the tee box and a walker was there saying he was playing with us... ummm ok? Starter never said a word. All good though. Great guy, social and I felt bad because his level of play was better than our group. He bagged after 9 holes and again, truly felt bad he got lumped in with us as we were rusty and it took us at least nine holes to get any sort of rythym. Two carts and a walker. Strange golf fellows.

Course was as described. Stay on the fairway and you can compete. The rough is unforgivable on your card.

Great time still. Course well maintained and scenic. Shout out to the ranger great guy and great advice.

every worker was very rude and unfriendly. they acted like they were doing us a favor just to be there!

An absolute hidden gem! I did not know about this course until three days ago, read online reviews and decided to book it not knowing how it actually was. The course was in fantastic shape and very scenic. Hands down one of the best values you will find (very challenging course). Highly recommend!

They are trying to make this a nice course but they need to work on it a little harder. . The fairways are very narrow and the rough is 5-6 inches and higher in most areas. They don’t trim around Some of the trees which would make it look so much nicer. Be prepared to lose a lot of balls if you can’t hit on the narrow fairways. There are also mud holes all over the course. The greens are the only things that were somewhat slow but in nice shape. No brown patches. Also, They need to keep the bathrooms open until all of the golfers have left the course or leave keys with the cart guys. Carts are very very slow!!

Will definitely play here again. Course in great shape and the price point well worth it. Pace of play was right on the money no backups. Every hole is unique and will give you something to think about. Greens were true and a bit slow compared to what I'm used to but just of matter of getting used to. My fault if I missed a putt.

We could only get 9 holes in because pace of play around 3 hours for 9 holes.

What a Great Course. I have come here on and off over 25 years and this was the Best shape I ever seen the course in. KUDOS to the Staff and Grounds Crew. A Fazio Layout the Rivals his top courses. A Must play when at the Jersey Shore

This is a challenging course which would be great if they cut and rolled the greens. Also tee boxes need mowing. It’s funny when you insert a long tee and it barely clears the grass. Also the rough is pretty penal for the average golfer and takes away the fun.it is after all a county course and should be able to be played by all.
