Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Pace of Play
Other than a few areas on the fairway (1-9) that were muddy and wet, the course is excellent! The pace of play was jammed up due to two sets of very slow foursomes 2/3 holes ahead. As a twosome, we had to wait for the foursome in front of us at the Tee Box at every hole. We also had backpressure while halfway through each hole. It happens! Not the courses fault!
Greens in very good condition
Great course and for $39 can’t beat a full round with carts and lunch.
Course has tough par threes
Course in great condition I haven’t beeb here in 20 years
Value ++++
For the price, one of the best courses in the area. Best county course I have ever played, based on the price, course condition and course layout.
The bar/rest is great food is really good and awesome beer list. Overall, a great value course to play!
Don’t Waste Your Time or Money
This course is in horrible condition. Tee boxes and fairways are full of weeds barren spots and mud. The traps were baked hard and full of rocks. Many traps lacked rakes. The worst part of the course were the greens. These were the slowest greens of any course I have ever played. All you could do is hit every putt as hard as you could and hope it would get near the hole. No skill involved on the greens. The layout was good, but they fail to maintain the course. My group was very disappointed.
Very challenging
Great golf course very challenging in great shape just bring mosquito spray but very challenging enough for your average golfer hidden gem awesome clubhouse and culinary school very good food best bang for your buck on golf now
Nice Course
Nice course, in decent shape, but great value for the money. Wish the greens were a bit faster, they tend to be very “furry”. Course play can be slow pending on time of day, but otherwise i would recommend if you are looking to play golf at a decent price.
long
Greens in excellent shape. Fairways need some care.
I wouldn’t recommend this course.
Course has tremendous potential And that’s the only positive things I have to say unfortunately. Pretty cool layout but course conditions are terrible. Greens are the slowest greens I’ve ever played on. It’s nearly impossible to putt. Fairways are beat up and dry spots all over.
I usually play three times a week. This was my first visit to Atlantis,. Pretty straight forward from the tees. Has some fun holes with a bunch of guarding bunkers or ponds so run ups won't work on many holes. Fairways in good shape, greens when we played were real slow ( with all the recent rain, probably haven't had a chance to cut and roll ) Very undulating so I'll bet they are tough when cut well. Nice little bar and light dining on outdoor patio. Booked on golfnow hot deal, but would pay regular rate to play again.
Great Day
The course had a lot of work this past fall and spring and is in great condition. Would definitely recommend it to all.
User friendly course!
Played this course with 3 others. We moved right along and finished the round in under 4 hours. The course was well maintained and had a few challenges. I would highly recommend it to anyone!!
