Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis

This is a long course, (which I personally like), and it is one of the best maintained courses in the area. (I would compare it to Blue Heron Pines.)

It's especially notable since it's a county course. All in all, a great experience. The unusually warm and sunny day didn't hurt either! :-)

Played here earlier in the year and it was Not in that good of shape man what a difference hat’s of to the maintenance crew it was in really good shape and the food after was fabulous again

From the moment you walk toward the starter either Harry or Burke you are welcomed. Then once inside you are greeted by Masie or Sharon it doesn’t get any better you are welcomed. Now the good stuff. A very difficult layout. Sand traps in front of 14 holes. So you can’t roll in on the green. You need a golf shot to carry the Ball onyo the green. So golfers add 6 or more strokes to your round. One reason why some give this course a tough rate. Tee boxes need some work. But the greens are true rolls so put your approach shots in the right place and stop three putting. This course and this staff are exceptional. So enjoy your day here and get. Better and stop blaming the course. See you on Friday mornings

I like the outlay of this course although it needs some tlc to get it up to "par." It was certainly challenging for a handicap player of my sorts but it plays well enough to not be overwhelmed.

Played in a foundation fundraiser and had a great time. Course was in excellent condition. Tees, fairways and greens are in the best shape yet. Food at the restaurant was very good. Nice day.

While Atantis has had its up & downs but right now the course is in exceptional condition. The BEST greens I've played all year. Fairways are good and lots of new grass growing in. Excellent food in the restaurant too!

The weather was great the course was in fantastic shape. The greens were great and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Greens and fairways have filled back in nicely since our last visit over the summer. Greens were putting true. Stopped in for a bite to eat afterwards. All in all a great day.

Best value. Course was in very nice shape even after all the rain we had.

This was the first time I have ever played here and only decided to play here's based on convenient location and price. After playing, I would have rather driven further and paid more to play somewhere else. The fairways were covered in clover, the greens were terrible, the tee boxes (white and blue) were aerated, and the gold and red tee boxes looked like they just threw tee markers down in the middle of the rough. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone.

Nice course,good layout greens were horrible had just been aerated and sanded wish I knew that info before i booked probably would have made a different choice but usually in great shape just timed it wrong will definitely play again after greens settle in

Tees and fairways burnt. Many areas little grass and would be considered ground indeed repair. Greens 50/50 sand and grass. Felt my feet sinking into sand while walking across green. Should close course until restored. Would not pay more than $10 to play a round.

Weekday afternoon was pretty empty, got us right off and didn't have to wait on any tee boxes. Ground was pretty burnt up in a lot of places. Knew they were aerating but found out after we payed only the back nine was being played.... So we played the same 9 holes twice which wasn't thrilling. With this said, greens on the back were mostly sand at this point as they were already aerated, bunkers weren't too bad, tee boxes were burnt and fairways iffy for the most part. Price was great and people are friendly. Layout (from the 9 we played) was okay a lot of nature around which I enjoy. Not the best shore course, but not the worst.
