Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Great value - Exceptional county course
Atlantis is in prime condition with beautiful fairways and manicured greens. Really exceptional for a county course.
New signage and repaved paths show that the facility is well maintainted.
Great Course and Staff but Slow Play
First everyone on the Atlantis staff are very nice people and helpful. I will always try to play at this course when in town. As for my critique, I played this course a number of times before where the pace of play moved a long fairly well. But that was not the case on July 13, 2018. I think the starter was so earnest in trying to get everyone out that he caused players to get stacked up. This meant slow play and over five hours to play 18 holes. It was a very frustrating day to say the least. From previous experience, this usually doesn’t happen at this course.
I was paired up with three other golfers. We were very compatible and enjoyed the round together.
Good day at the course
Great weather, course in decent shape, greens better than average. Shot a 84 and had fun with good guys
Putting On Fairways
Terrible course -- in bad shape and really boring layout. Grass on the greens is as high as most decent courses fairways. Even the driving range is terrible...
Nice course. Good design. Some challenging holes. Some nice visuals. Staff very friendly
Atlantis
In all the time I play this course never before was in so good condition. Fairway and greens really good, the only complaint I have I the front desk guy, he took to much time to attend the golfers.
But in general I recommend, nice place for golf.
Awesome Value
This course is in great shape. By far the best municipal course I’ve played. And the value was excellent. I payed $39 for their golf/lunch special(18 holes, cart, and a full lunch.) The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back
Best Shape I Ever Seen
Have been Playing Atlantis for 20 Years, and I must say that the Course is in the Best Shape I've ever seen....Greens were Rolling at about a 9 on the Stimp and the Fairways have definition....Great Value for the Money, even picked up a Shirt for $10 in the Pro Shop...Staff was very accommodating
Challenge
This course is a good challenge for the average golfer. It rewards risk and punishes errant tee shot. It is imperative to make it to the fairway. Greens were not too fast and consistent. I will definitely return to play here again.
Great day on the links
Greens in excellent conditions. Fairways rolled nice! Rough a little high making for more difficult shots.
Too slow,no rangers
Lots of improvements since last played. Front nine was good until 6th hole.We got behind a 4some that was prob.playing nickel nassau. 4 open holes in front of them.No rangers were seen to try to speed things up. 5 hrs is a long round. Even with the long round I will play here again.
It took me an hour to get there
Got there around 20 minutes before my tee time this the starter was a little farty the people inside were pretty nice had a good time nice layout greens a little rough Fairways a little high but all in all not a bad course especially for the price
First Timer
First time of this course last weekend. Love the layout and the course was challenging. The staff was excellent. It was a great experience. Once the grass grows out, we we will be back. The day was highlighted by my bud, Farel getting a eagle on the 15th hole.
Beautiful day for golf
Missed most of last season due to injury, so only played 9 to get a feel again. Course was in great shape and the weather was fantastic. New cart paths in some areas and grass extended behind 6th green were a noteworthy improvement. Greens were quicker than usual which was good as well. Look forward to the season starting.
Money needed
Bunkers need work , greens need to tighten up and taking out trees would improve speed of play and help grass grow. County should invest more.
