Mays Landing Golf Club
About
Former president of the PGA of America, Leo Fraser, designed the 18-hole public course at the Mays Landing Golf Club with both advanced and beginning golfers in mind. Touted as the "best birdie for the buck," the Mays Landing golf course provides a great value for all golfers. The course was meticulously designed over 175 acres of beautiful pineland with scenic tree-lined fairways.
Mays Landing Golf Club provides an experience similar to one at a private country club with its excellent service and amenities including a pro shop, restaurant, and PGA instructors on site. On hot days they even have cool towels for you and they always have roaming beverage carts. The course is 6,633 yards at the longest tees, playing to a par of 72.

Poor golf course
Layout of this golf course is nice but the condition is very very poor. Needs a ton of work to be a playable enjoyable golf experience.
wednesday
Pace of play was very good. The price was okay, but the course itself is not very good. Greens cut too high and very bumpy in places. The traps did not look good, I did not land in any, lucky. Maybe next year will bring course conditions.
very efficient. worth the price
greens excellent. fairway grass dieing out. tee boxes wet. a lot of rain the previous night
Good round overall
Course not in the best of condition, fairways spotty at best. Greens had some rough spots but putted true. Overall. a nice layout that could use a bit of work.
Mays Landing
Brought my 15 year old son, man at front didn’t charge me for him. Used that savings to get 2 buckets of balls for range at the course.. friendly staff, great layout, . Will be going back. I
MLCC
Place was empty - pro shop empty - looks like they are out of business. Course was only in fair shape. Greens mostly were bad. Fairway also not so great.
Fire all the maintenance people and hire all new people
Conditions were dreadful to say the least. Almost every green and fairway was dead!
Course was a mess
Most greens were horrible, fairways had barely any grass. Appears they’re trying to fix things but the price should be reduced until it’s deemed even average playing conditions.
Play elsewhere
Overall course is in poor condition. Only bargain was golf now
Not bad for the price
Fun Course. Good layout. It was in pretty rough shape in some parts. Lots of crabgrass in the fairways and some of the greens are downright un-puttable. There was also no food or drink available for purchase. Just fine for a casual round, but might be tough for the intense golfer or if you’re playing a serious match.
Good value
Can’t beat the price. Good layout. Greens bumpy but still ok. Fairways cut, but some mostly weeds, some grassy. Not much sand in traps, but still fun day.
the course was in much better than in the Spring when I played it last.
Was pleasantly surprised how the course had improved. The tee boxes were much improved. The fairways were much better. The greens were better, but some need a lot more work. Traps were rough. No rakes because of covid.
Don’t Bother
Unfortunately the course is in terrible condition. Weeds or bare for fairways. Greens also in horrendous condition. Such a shame.
