About
Former president of the PGA of America, Leo Fraser, designed the 18-hole public course at the Mays Landing Golf Club with both advanced and beginning golfers in mind. Touted as the "best birdie for the buck," the Mays Landing golf course provides a great value for all golfers. The course was meticulously designed over 175 acres of beautiful pineland with scenic tree-lined fairways.
Mays Landing Golf Club provides an experience similar to one at a private country club with its excellent service and amenities including a pro shop, restaurant, and PGA instructors on site. On hot days they even have cool towels for you and they always have roaming beverage carts. The course is 6,633 yards at the longest tees, playing to a par of 72.

Poor conditions
Greens we're in terrible condition: uncut and full of divots. Light rough was like hitting off a cart path. Bunkers we're concrete. Fairways had divots all over the place. Trees were untrimmed and overhanging several fairways. The tee box on 17 was placed all the way to the right and up directly in line with a tree; I hit a beautiful drive that was knocked down because the ball had nowhere to go
While $35 for 18 with a cart is a good deal, I would have rather hit green tree for $15 less with better conditions. I will most likely not be returning here
Great day for golf
Today was a beautiful day to play, the course was crowded and play was slow, but who cares? Golf beats working every time!
Terrible round
The course is not in good condition in my opinion. The biggest problem was the greens cutting staff were cutting every hole we were on and when we were putting they waited for us to finish. We complained to one of the staff, not sure what his role is, and we never heard back from him. This was not acceptable to be playing while every green was being cut. I said to the guy, “ I’d like a rain check to come back and play another day versus this hassle” but he never came back to us.
Cant beat it
conditions are much improved since spring and getting better. Price for a round is unbeatable in the area... The staff is awsome . I always book by myself and end up being put in a 3some or 4some. The past few times ive been put with memebers of the club who were awsome... Always a great experience.... memebership deals are unmatched as well...
Go to course at Jersey Shore
We always try to play here when headed down to Atlantic City. Great people and easy to play
Needs work but a good value
my biggest issue was the slow play of the group in front of me and no rangers
needs improvement
greens in good shape, fairway hard, dry and not much grass. bunkers had more rocks than sand. if you get a deal price its OK, but otherwise don't waste your money

The course is much improved since when I played it in the early Spring. Greens, fairways are 100% improved. Traps have sand and are maintained. Tee boxes are much improved. Pleasant round.
Long Course
MLCC is close to my home and I golf there as often as I can. I like the course, but find it to be a long course, so you’ll get a workout with your 3-5 irons. The staff is great and very friendly. Their putting green is the nicest that I’ve seen.

Course in terrible shape
Played this course in years past and it was in nice shape. This year it was very disappointing. The greens had not been cut in some time and were extremely slow. In addition there was lots of “debris” on the greens making putts unnerving. The rough was terrible. Patchy, blotchy areas of grass. Too many trees were in need of pruning as they hung over the fairways too much. Staff was terrific however
