Mays Landing Golf Club
About
Former president of the PGA of America, Leo Fraser, designed the 18-hole public course at the Mays Landing Golf Club with both advanced and beginning golfers in mind. Touted as the "best birdie for the buck," the Mays Landing golf course provides a great value for all golfers. The course was meticulously designed over 175 acres of beautiful pineland with scenic tree-lined fairways.
Mays Landing Golf Club provides an experience similar to one at a private country club with its excellent service and amenities including a pro shop, restaurant, and PGA instructors on site. On hot days they even have cool towels for you and they always have roaming beverage carts. The course is 6,633 yards at the longest tees, playing to a par of 72.

good challenge
good challenge for my level of game. greens were aerated and sanded. some tee boxes showed wear. course better than last time I played it. can't beat the value for my game.
Great Deal at Mays Landing Country Club
Very friendly Pro Shop and enjoyed the entire experience. We had a chance to golf with 3 other friends and had an enjoyable day with a stop for beer and sandwich after the round. Everyone was extremely friendly and great day.
Not great shape.
Very attentive and friendly staff. However, the course wasn't as much. A little early in the season to expect much from any course I guess. Several of the greens had just been top dressed and no one even said anything. A little disappointed. We may try again later in the season.
MLGC BLUES
the greens were being airated, had to play front 9 only. greens were hole punched and topped with sand. was not told when booking. starter and pro shop acted like they didn't care. said Golfnow should have notified me when I booked. Fairways are crab grass, bunkers full of dirt and rocks. rough was all gravel and pine needles. I was hoping new owners would do something better with course. Ronnie the starter was gone also,.
First time playing at mays landing and it was a very neat course. Staff was great. Cart caddy met us in the parking lot at our vehicles and dropped off the carts to us. He also wiped our clubs clean at the end of our round. Fairways all around were great. Front 9 putting greens were below average in my opinion and very choppy. Back 9 greens were close to perfect. Would definitely return
where is everybody
Had the course to ourselves and took advantage of it. A few more rounds like this and we'll be ready for the golf season. Course is in early March condition in other words if you're seeking pristine condition you may need to play somewhere else and pay accordingly. As for me I expect to play here more than a few times time this year.
Great practice round
Played there as a tune up- great value- only one there- car paths are rough- but had a great day of practice. Will return
Winter Miracle
65 degrees in February, great staff & best wings after....golfers' heaven. Course in good shape, a bit wet...who cares! Interesting layout w/lots of bunkers.
Great value
Would recommend this course as a good value this time of year. We have had our share of wet weather this year and now that winter is at our front door step you can't expect a perfect golf course. The greens on the front nine are just bad, but the back nine greens roll pretty good. Nice people work here i will definitely come back.
Bad golf carts
This was the third time that I had played this course since September, and the 3rd time that my golf cart stopped working/running. The manager did nothing about it when I complained about the cart. Don't go to this course unless you want to walk back to the club house.
Rough greens
Have played this course many times before they aerate the greens. They are normally in better condition. Right now they are quite rough. It will all get better and I look forward to it.
Needs upkeep
This is a parkland course that is in need of a weed control and fertilizer program. Weedy bunkers and fairways.
I enjoyed my round but it’s not the same quality as other courses near by right now. It’s not just the amount of rain before I played.
Terrible condition
Course was only open for 9 holes due to airating which no one told us. They had 5 somes on the course too slowing pace greatly. Just overall a bad day .
A wet day
There was a littls drizzle the first 9 holes, there was a lot of water on the course and mostly drove on the sides.
All in all the course was in ok shape. The greens were a little worn from a busy season most likely.
