Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

Excellent
Loved this course. Course is in excellent condition and we finished in 3 1/2 hours. Outstanding!!!
Average course
Average course. Nothing special about the layout, although the house was in very good shape. Used the practice green and discovered the playing greens were much slower. It through my putting game off.
A must play
For a fun round of golf head to spooky brook. Ideal for any level of golfer. A good mix of getable and tough holes. Smooth greens and fairways. Drove an hour to the course and would do it every week.
Good shape
Wide open county course in good playing shape. Greens are firm so roll well. Could use an effective ranger as none were seen.
Just fair.
For $54, within an hour of Manhattan this is a fair golf course. Nothing special, nothing exciting but at the same time a nice walk with pleasant locals. Greens are in good condition which makes it worthwhile. Very open course.
Good Greens
Greens were in great condition for early spring. Not aerated as yet. Overall condition of course was in very good shape. Bunkers were maintained.
