About
Quail Brook Golf Course in Somerset is one of central New Jersey's top public courses. The challenging design is a favorite amongst local golfers. The layout has a diverse mix of holes, some of which are spacious and wide-open and others that are rolling and tight. Although the golf course may seem short at 6,630 yards from the back tees, don't be fooled by the yardage. The course can feel much longer thanks to the hilly terrain. The front nine has subtler undulations while the back nine is dramatically hilly, which makes it a tough course to walk. Quail Brook Golf Course's undulating fairways lead to challenging sloped greens that are framed with strategically placed bunkers. There aren't too many opportunities for driving, but your short game will definitely get a workout.

Very Good to Excellent
Love playing Quail Brook as it’s an excellent county course. Layout is fun and enjoyable.
Wonderful Golf Course
Course was in tremendous shape. Pace of play was great and staff is very friendly.
Nice course
Played a solo round of 18 in the afternoon. Course was in great shape. Wide fairways, big but slow greens. Pace of play slowed down on the back 9 but it was 90 degrees out. Not much off course amenities to speak of.
Solid Track in The Area
Awesome conditions tee to green and greens are rolling nicely even with all the recent rains.
One of the better Somerset County Courses
I enjoyed my round at Quail Brook, love that they have a driving range to warm up before the round. Course is in great condition. Back 9 is very hilly for us walkers and on a 90° day almost would be better to start on #10 and start the back 9 on #1 since the front 9 is a little more forgiving and flatter. Great course will play again for sure!
Excellent conditions
Best I've seen any of the Somerset County courses with exception to Neshanic Valley.
What a Day
Course was in perfect shape, 4 hour round with nobody holding us up. Couldn't ask for a better day and conditions were perfect as usual.
Awesome Round at Quail Brook
Course was in great shape. Fairways were really nice and greens were challenging but playable. Pace of play was a little slow but not terrible. Overall Grade A!
Great course layout.
The starter was very cooperative. Staff is friendly to out-of-county golfers. Maintenance it top notch. The back nine has wonderful rolling hills.
