Quail Brook Golf Course in Somerset is one of central New Jersey's top public courses. The challenging design is a favorite amongst local golfers. The layout has a diverse mix of holes, some of which are spacious and wide-open and others that are rolling and tight. Although the golf course may seem short at 6,630 yards from the back tees, don't be fooled by the yardage. The course can feel much longer thanks to the hilly terrain. The front nine has subtler undulations while the back nine is dramatically hilly, which makes it a tough course to walk. Quail Brook Golf Course's undulating fairways lead to challenging sloped greens that are framed with strategically placed bunkers. There aren't too many opportunities for driving, but your short game will definitely get a workout.

The golf course was in excellent condition
After 9 holes we had a Thunder and Lightning storm with a down pour. Course was so wet it became unplayable. We asked for a rain check as we only played 9 holes. All Somerset county golf courses have a no rain check policy. No matter how many holes you have played, Never Never heard of a golf course with this policy
Again a nice course but check the weather before you give them your money

Well maintained course. Enjoyed playing there.
There are a lot of nats though on most of the holes. Not sure if it’s always like that.
shorter course - great condition
we played as foursome, enjoyed the day. staff was great course was in great condition. while some holes were shorter, if you missed you paid. really tall grass, woods and water surround most holes
Great Value Course!
This course for the price is worthy of playing, different shot selection on multiple holes and worth playing if you are a relatively novice golfer.
Excellent Public Course
Course was in great shape. Pace of play was very good especially with full tee times. Would love to play there more often.
Great layout...tough back nine
Played fir first time in years....all good..tough walk though....distance between holes on back nine are not on,y hilly but lengthy...pull cart or riding cart required
