About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

Excellent but no wow Factor
For the Palms course; Price vs quality is ok , the greens are good but slow and are not a factor on your final score . I which for them and us that they manucure with some money the course…no flowers , or any others landscaping that would advantage the golfers ride through the course layout. As definitely potential but ….effort I don’t know …I would pay 10$ More in order to have some kind of wow and possibility of some golfing pictures. I still recommend.

Overall well pleased. Pace was quick early in the day. Course Conditions varies from good to poor. Overall ok just move your ball to grass on n the green, move around dead spots and ball marks.
Not recommended for competitive play.

Nice course, lovely layout and in great condition, I’m on vacation from Ireland for three weeks and would love to play again.
Started off rude - got worse from there
The older guy behind the desk was rude to me. I arrived one hour early to practice on the greens and hit a bucket, I was met by a helpful young man who loaded my cart and brought it to the back area. I went inside to pay and the younger guy I was dealing with said I had to come back later to pay because I was too early ? I asked why I would have to come back when my tee time was only 50 min later when the older guy inserted himself into my conversation and raised his voice to tell me that I could not pay now because then I would demand a cart , which he said he did not yet have for me . My cart was loaded already , so I just paid for my bucket , walked out and drove my cart to the practice area , which was in poor condition.
Then about 30 min later I had to go back inside to pay, crazy because I could have easily paid online !
We then proceeded to the course , which I warn you must be the very worst condition track in the area. The tee boxes , fairways , and greens look like crap .
On three occasions I had to move my ball on the green because I could not putt where it landed because the greens had large areas that were gone . Big areas on greens that were missing due to improper green keeping .
We were in the area , staying at the Wyndham for a golf vacation. We played 5 courses and only had a bad experience at this course.
I recommend playing any other course over this one , even the mini golf course next to the pool at our hotel .
