Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

Vacation
The course was in average condition. The layout makes it easy for beginners and intermediary players alike. The iguanas are everywhere and fun to watch. No need for a stupid mask as they understand science. The drink and food prices are outstanding, will definitely be back.
Great time, love seeing Iguanas out there
My family had a great round, greens were quite quick. Would enjoy playing again.
Working Man's course
For the price, it's fine. No frills golf course. I would play it again when I'm back in the area.
Incredible Staff
The staff is very accommodating and wonderful to work with. I had a great experience because of them and I will definitely be back specifically because of the welcoming and helpful staff.
Good value course. Would play again
We played 8am Sunday morning (mid March) and played in 4 hours. Fairways were in nice shape, however, some of the greens and tee boxes definitely could have used maintenance (some a lot more than others). While it didn’t ruin the round, we did have to move a few balls on the greens as there were large dirt patches in the middle of 2 greens.
All in all it was a great round and a fun course to play and the price was definitely a good value compared to other more expensive courses in the area. Would absolutely play again.
Pot holes
The coarse seems to be neglected and the cart path was dirt road with many pot holes. The tee boxes did not seem to be kept up and divots not filled. The greens were at most we’re ok with ball marks not repaired. I did not see one maintanence worker around and the club house seemed delapidated. There was no landscaping done around the club house. It seems that the owners need to spend $$$$$ to bring it up to standard to most courses. I spoke with other people on this course and the tell me the oaks is even worse.
Palm course
Very friendly starter and pro shop personnel. Course in great shape with fast greens. A few rough spots but overall a great course. Only problem is you have to carry your bag from the 18 green to your car in the parking lot. 2 workers sitting in carts watching you. I think they could offer shuttle service to car and make a few extra bucks.
But they still had a tip jar out looking for tips. I do not know what could have been tipped for.
The staff was really terrible especially the guy who assigned the golf carts. Are tee time was 115 we didn't actually tee off till 135 the tee boxes were all uneven the greens were fast but hard as a rock I definitely won't go back!
Enjoyed our round
My wife and I traveled on a return vacation to Pompano Beach, having last traveled pre-COVID in 2019. Excited to golf we researched area courses and hit upon Palm Aire. We golfed here the day before this as well. The course is in very nice shape. Tee boxes maintained well with very few dry or brown spots, same with fairways. The greens are consistently manicured and green with spots only rare. We found the greens challenging due to speed; but that’s what makes the game too! The staff were very friendly, respectful of distancing and mask wearing, facilities clean. I would highly recommend this course and facility and look ok forward to returning.
Palm AireGolf course.
Played yesterday course in good condition, grens running fast, played in four hours and 20 mins.Good value.
Very good value
I have played the palms course several times this season and was impressed with the overall condition of the course. The fairways and greens are in very good shape. In addition they are spacing groups about 16 minutes apart so the pace of play has been good. The staff I have interacted with has been friendly and the practice facility is very nice too!
Better than many
The quality of the public golf courses in South Florida has certainly deteriorated over time. The course is relatively well kept and a fun track for the average golfer. Greens rolled nice. Even though most of the patrons haven’t learned how to use a Divot tool! Pace of play was super fast on the front nine and then slow as molasses on the back. I think the club decided to load up additional Foursomes on the back nine which wasn’t appreciated. But I plan to go back during my next visit to the area
