About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

Over priced
Greens not up to par (no pun intended)
Greens need work
Some nice
Some real bad
Fairways not bad
Staff very nice
Pace of play hard to make call on
We were 3 playing behind foursomes
Had to wait on some holes but expected being a threesome
Price a little high for course conditions

Nice course, lovely layout and in great condition, I’m on vacation from Ireland for three weeks and would love to play again.
Started off rude - got worse from there
The older guy behind the desk was rude to me. I arrived one hour early to practice on the greens and hit a bucket, I was met by a helpful young man who loaded my cart and brought it to the back area. I went inside to pay and the younger guy I was dealing with said I had to come back later to pay because I was too early ? I asked why I would have to come back when my tee time was only 50 min later when the older guy inserted himself into my conversation and raised his voice to tell me that I could not pay now because then I would demand a cart , which he said he did not yet have for me . My cart was loaded already , so I just paid for my bucket , walked out and drove my cart to the practice area , which was in poor condition.
Then about 30 min later I had to go back inside to pay, crazy because I could have easily paid online !
We then proceeded to the course , which I warn you must be the very worst condition track in the area. The tee boxes , fairways , and greens look like crap .
On three occasions I had to move my ball on the green because I could not putt where it landed because the greens had large areas that were gone . Big areas on greens that were missing due to improper green keeping .
We were in the area , staying at the Wyndham for a golf vacation. We played 5 courses and only had a bad experience at this course.
I recommend playing any other course over this one , even the mini golf course next to the pool at our hotel .

This is my Florida go to course
Decent course could use maintenance
Played this with the wives from a recommendation of a friend. Loved the layout but conditions weren’t great. Tee boxes, greens and fairways were in tough shape. No bev cart or water available anywhere on the course. Asked for a cooler on the turn and were given a plastic bag with ice in it. Didn’t seem to affect popularity as the place was packed.
