Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

The greens were pretty bad shape, lots of dead patches.. The fairways weren't the best but ok, some sand traps were good and some sucked...This time of year it's a good 30 dollar course.
You Get What You Pay For!
Extremely fair fees and available tee times because…….course in horrible condition, cart paths like Beirut, zero amenities.
Was a good course
This was a good course, 20 years ago. This course has not been maintained well. It appears they may be trying to improve, but unsuccessfully. The staff was rude and inconsiderate, they turned the sprinklers on while we were on the hole. Soaking us and our carts and clubs. When we asked the employee why, he stated we parked in front of the sprinklers and it was our fault.
It was okay
The greens had bad spots on them which made it difficult for a decent put. The starter was a young man with not very good manners. Everyone else there was pretty friendly. The cart paths are broken with tons of potholes.
Great value course
Tee boxes were below average, fairways were average, greens were great when they weren’t spotty, but half of the greens were spotty (mini sand areas in the greens, lack of grass spots with only dirt.
No cart lady, but a great bar with food at the turn. A maintenance workers turned on the sprinklers at hole 5+6 and completely drenched the greens at 9:30 just as we were arriving to the holes and made the greens slower than a carpet and made the ground mushy. As the greens dried up through the day they got way faster so it started to become difficult to gauge.
Shop staff and outside staff were amazing. Made me feel like I was at a much more expensive place. They seemed to really like being at their job
For $45 at a 8:30 start I would say this is a great value course for the area, but don’t expect grade A conditions (also I was told they would be aerating the greens after Memorial Day weekend)
Vacation
The course was in average condition. The layout makes it easy for beginners and intermediary players alike. The iguanas are everywhere and fun to watch. No need for a stupid mask as they understand science. The drink and food prices are outstanding, will definitely be back.
Great time, love seeing Iguanas out there
My family had a great round, greens were quite quick. Would enjoy playing again.
Working Man's course
For the price, it's fine. No frills golf course. I would play it again when I'm back in the area.
Incredible Staff
The staff is very accommodating and wonderful to work with. I had a great experience because of them and I will definitely be back specifically because of the welcoming and helpful staff.
Good value course. Would play again
We played 8am Sunday morning (mid March) and played in 4 hours. Fairways were in nice shape, however, some of the greens and tee boxes definitely could have used maintenance (some a lot more than others). While it didn’t ruin the round, we did have to move a few balls on the greens as there were large dirt patches in the middle of 2 greens.
All in all it was a great round and a fun course to play and the price was definitely a good value compared to other more expensive courses in the area. Would absolutely play again.
Pot holes
The coarse seems to be neglected and the cart path was dirt road with many pot holes. The tee boxes did not seem to be kept up and divots not filled. The greens were at most we’re ok with ball marks not repaired. I did not see one maintanence worker around and the club house seemed delapidated. There was no landscaping done around the club house. It seems that the owners need to spend $$$$$ to bring it up to standard to most courses. I spoke with other people on this course and the tell me the oaks is even worse.
