Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

Don’t have high expectations
If you drop your bag off at the bag drop they move it to where the carts are. Guy at the podium was a bit disorganized and we had to wait to get our cart even though plenty of carts sitting. Course conditions-some tee boxes sandy, bunkers have blackish powdery ? sand bs dirt, greens fast and slow with many having unfixed divots. Be nice if golfers would fill some fairway divots while waiting. Fairways overall good with a couple of patchy hardpan areas. Rough fairly manicured. A lot of garbage around unfortunately, ok course.
Rip Off
They have the audacity to charge $70 for a round. Allowing people to drive on greens. Pace of play is horrible with nobody checking it. Most of the course is dirt. The only good part was the staff at the front.
Nice course
We played in about 4 hours. Greens were nice even though I couldn't make anything. Multiple tees to accommodate any golfer. Fairways a little thin in spots.
Great course!
Staff was above excellent! Course is in fantastic condition. Would recommend to anyone.
Palm Aire in Fort Lauderdale
the course was well maintained and the greens were in good shape.
I would recommend the course for any level golfer.
Fun layout, poor conditions
All of the palm aire courses have seen better days, but the palms is definitely the worst. Significantly overpriced for the course conditions. Pace of play usually is pretty good, likely because of the previous statement. Friendly staff, decent practice area. Greens are actually in solid shape, so it is playable. But everything else is poor, especially the secondary things like cart paths, landscaping edging the holes and creeks and such. There are zero picturesque parts of the course.
The Palms at Palm Aire – 5 Stars
The Palms at Palm Aire is hands down my favorite course to play in South Florida. The value here is unmatched—you get an extremely well-maintained course at one of the best prices around. The fairways are always in great shape, the greens roll smooth and true, and the layout is both fun and challenging without being overly punishing.
Every round feels enjoyable, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating, which makes the experience even better. For the quality you get at this price point, you simply can’t beat The Palms. Whether you’re a regular or just visiting, this is the course I recommend every time.
Great Course for a Great Price
The Palms at Palm-Aire is one of the best golfing experiences in South Florida for the cost of play. The course is beautifully maintained, with lush fairways, smooth greens, and a layout that’s both enjoyable and challenging for golfers of all levels. The design features a great mix of wide landing areas, strategic bunkers, and scenic water views, making each hole memorable.
The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your round enjoyable. The pace of play is excellent, and the facilities—from the practice range to the clubhouse—are top-notch. Whether you’re a local regular or visiting from out of town, The Palms offers a welcoming atmosphere and a true country club feel without being intimidating.
If you’re looking for a fun, well-kept course with great value and service, The Palms at Palm-Aire is a must-play in Pompano Beach.
Nice layout
Greens were in good shape. Some rough spots on fairways
Great Course
This is a great course for the value. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course lay out is nice. The greens are well kept as are the fairways. I started playing this course 2 years ago and play here often. It is a great course for beginners as well as experienced golfers. Great course and great value. Hope you enjoy the course as much as I do.
Swing'em and Ding'em!!!
Great. Purse Great Value
I love playing this course. It has a great layout and beautiful greens. The staff keeps it well maintained. The staff is also great. They also are very friendly and accommodating. There are 3 separate courses to choose from. My personal favorite is the Palms but both Cypress and the Oaks are very nice. Now for the Value you can’t beat it. Overall this is a great course with a great staff. I highly recommend playing here.
Great Course
Greens and fairways were in great shape. Especially for the late summer Florida weather
