About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

Good shape slow greens
The course is nice and in good shape. Lots of fun and challenging hikes with a driving range and putting green green for warming up. Only downside is the greens were very slow. Not a big deal but took a bit to get used to the roll.
Some Things Don't Change
5+ hours round. Brutal pace of play and no ranger. Plenty of guys at the cart area but no one traveling the course.
Hard this time of year with all of the snow birds, so I get it. Still did not expect it to take more than 5 hours.
Course is in decent shape for the extreme use it gets.

I wish the bar/food area was updated.

Long day at the course
Florida Golf, once again there were three groups on 10 after the turn No rangers on the course and we crawled on the back nine. Course should provide some guidance on pace of play so golfers do not get frustrated on slow play.

The Palms has no Marshall we caught the 4 some and waited the last 9 holes. 3 groups behind us were also waiting.

Course is in overall good shape. Better than some others in this price range. Layout is not overly challenging but allows for a reasonable pace of play. I will be returning.
Good pairing
Pace of play was good and played with two very nice players.Fairways need some grass and tee boxes need some work.

Best condition out of the three courses. Greens were good but tee boxes are a little beat up.
Overall, very nice older course
I played there yesterday after an absence of many many years. The course is in pretty good shape overall, including tee boxes, fairways and greens. There are nice pro shops with friendly staff at each. Pace of play was fine. The greens fees are fair, given the season.
First tee time
I enjoyed my round with 3 nice playing mates. The course was in pretty good shape and the staff was friendly
