Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

Good Summer Conditions
Course was in good Summer conditions. Fairways in decent shape. Greens were very good and rolled well.
It was hot and muggy and they were out of ice by the time we made the turn around 11:15am. Not good. Make sure you keep hydrated during Summer play.
This is a solid layout and the staff is very good and very helpful.
course has good feaatures
greens in great shape but fairways need work.
Resort Course
Very Convienient to Wyndham Resort
Great Value
I had a great time playing the Palm course. It really helped that I got to play with Joe. I had fun and played well for me (high 90s). Joe noted that the greens were running true but slower than typical. After the round we were told that had cut them a little higher. I started fairly early (3rd group out) and the pace of play was great, 4 hr round. I liked the layout.
playing in Florida
it was all good though I think they put too many carts around and we had to wait and cue a lot of times having 3 teams ahead of us. Even when partnering we had been delayed, I'm wondering if they should send in less player at a time
LOG JAM
Great course. Narrow and visually challenging. Loved the big tough greens. But 4 foursomes on first hole with NO Starter or Ranger at tee box. #9 was adjacent to #1 tee box... No one on that hole or 8. We had first 4 some out timed at 2:45 for front 9 which set the pace for the rest of the day. GET SOME RANGERS OUT TO SPEED PLAY and this would be a 4-5 star experience.
Good Value
The course is not the greatest, but a good value for the money. Fairways pretty good, but green better than expected.
Good value
The course is in good condition, the greens are true and we played 18 in 4 hours having to wait to hit on only one hole.
Danger zone
The person I was playing with on hole #9 got drilled in the chest by a drive hit on #1. 147 yard screaming low line drive. We were almost hit three other times from shots from other holes. I will not play that particular course again.
skip this course
Went here on a Saturday afternoon. You expect slow play, but his was ridiculous. To start our day, we had to wait at the clubhouse...passed our tee time because they were out of carts....that should have been the first sign to leave. There were no rangers moving pace of play. Took 3 hours to play 11 holes. With a course that "full", they couldn't even afford to have a beverage cart running around. Stay classy Palm Aire!
good value for the money
Second trip we are playing this course, enjoyed all the time. We can recommend this to all level of players. Go and have fun
I always have fun here
The course has it's challenges but it's a very fair/relatively open layout like most South Florida courses. The bunkers are the main defense. I booked through Golfnow but got a little lost along the way and when I arrived the staff was very helpful in getting me out as soon as possible. I was paired with a member and a few locals and had a very nice time. You won't lose many balls here but the course can definitely be challenging if you play the correct tees. I always try to play Palm Aire when visiting family in the area. The value is good and the people there are very friendly. Greens were not super fast but they were not slow either. All in all a great day and a good course.
Decent Course
The starter was very helpful. The pace was pathetically slow. Back nine was even slower so i left the 13th hole after 4 hours.
The greens were in good condition. The fairways were in good shape.
Great Day
I have played the Palm Aire The Palms course a few time and I am never disappointed. Nice layout, good conditions and friendly staff. Always a great experience and will be playing again..
Enjoyable Course, Friendly Staff
The course is somewhat long for me from the white tees,( about 6,350 yards). The next shorter tees are about 5,500 yards. Fairways okay, greens okay, but neither in country-club type shape. Some streams crossing fairways, but no forced carries. I played in the later afternoon, paid about $20.00. Overall, a good value.
One of Three
I have played this course a lot and enjoy the diversity of the three courses at Palm Aire. The greens here were done I think in 2013 and were the best around. They are still in very good shape but the fairways have deteriorated. Ground is hard, grass very short and many bare spots. Ball does not sit up on fairway.
We have had a lot of rain and I have played many other courses in the area, to include the other two Palm Aire courses, which dont have this problem so I am confused as to why it is in this condition. Hopefully they will return it to what it used to be, a very nice, challenging, fun to play course. Still, a good course to play and enjoy. Staff friendly. Need rangers out there at times for some slow groups.
