Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

nice layout
first time played, played long, excellent staff, very freindly
Decent warm up course
Open fairwaYs- good challenging greens. As a single I wAs very pleased to be matched with 3 avid golfers. A fun and pleasant experience.
It was a fair course. Only good with discount
The staff is hit or miss. They were busy and not very friendly. I got a $25 golf now special so it was worth it. The course is wide open except for a couple of tight holes. The greens were 3/5. The fairways 3/5. There is some water to make it challenging on some holes. I rather play Jacaranda or Plantation preserve but in the winter $25 is a great deal for any decent course.
Duffer Course
This is a slow track golf course with a lot of new or beginning golfers and the conditions are not in very good shape compared to the other Palm Air Courses. Although the prices are a little less they are a much better value.
Great location, good improvements in last two years
Needed improvements have been made in recent years. The course is playing well with decent greens. The back is tight off the tees in places so it's a challenge for driving. Some water but a good overall balance.
Average course
Greens a bit slow but layout is not bad. No ranger on course so the pace is excruciatingly slow. You are at the mercy of the 50 handicappers in front of you.
Fun time
Course was in decent shape, greens roll well. Moderately challenging from white tees, lots of golfers but it moved well, we played in less than four hours
Worst Clublink Course
I am not a Clublink memeber, but has played few courses in Ontario. The Plam course at Plam Aire is probably the worst one I ever played. The fairway is hard and bare, the water hazard looks like sewer. For sure I won't play at Plam Aire again.
Nice ride in the park
Challenging greens, It´s hard to reach in regultionthe greens in regulation, add an extra club!
Classic South Florida golf course
Honestly, there is not very much in the way of exciting and unique golf experiences in South Florida that are available for public play. Therefore, my goal on a recent Saturday afternoon was to find a nice course in good condition where I could play at my own pace. Not only did the Palms cover all that, but I always appreciate when my interaction with the employees is so positive. While the layout is rather simple, I actually found more that a few challenging tee shots on the Par 4's and Par 5's. The location was also literally minutes from my hotel and the cart girls were out there until very late in the afternoon.
The Palms Course
Staff was great and friendly. They course is a nice layout and forgiving for their average player. Tee boxes were in nice shape and large greens that were in great shape. We were rained out after 10 so, 11-18 I would not be able to comment on. I'm looking forward to going back.
Nice course
Nice course, shame about the eastern bloc style condo's lining it.
Nice Course
Not a lot of water. good course to have some fun with family
Nice wide fairways
Second time I've played this course - great value - good contrition went round in 3 hours

Nice course! Will play again! Played a different course a day later and regretted the choice. Should have come back to the Palms.
good for the money
Good course for the money. If you are playing well you can take a low number on this course. Greens in good shape and don't break too much making scoring straightforward. If this course had a few more bunkers the scoring would be more difficult but it's a fun course to play.
Resonable price
Rental Clubs very expensive. I booked a special rate through gn.
Great course
Great course, facility was nice as well as staff, only thing missing was a refreshment cart.
Palms course
Palm course - A nice course, slightly boring, few hazards water limited, a couple of narrow fairways, large sized greens. Rental clubs were very good new, clean full set of 2014 taylormade but at $55 the course lets itself down as this was more than the $35 green fee. Decent putting green, fairways ok, greens ok, sand traps average - if you are a low handicap you can shoot low here the greens were receptive to good approaches - I hit at least 7-8 shots to 10-12 feet. My handicap is 10-11 and if i had a good putting day could easily have shot 75 here. A good course for mid to higher handicappers or those low handicappers looking for a low round but for those seeking a premium challenging course with features look elsewhere.
needs an update
The facilities are old, and the course shows the wear and tear of an inexpensive option. The greens are in good shape, but fairways, rough, and tee-boxes all need to be updated. Some bunkers have been left alone to become waste bunkers, but the ones that gaurd the greens are in better shape than I thought they would be. I went into the round thinking about joining the membership option for the three courses on the property, but more than likely will not be playing here again. Heron Bay is a much better option for around the same pricing, even if it is more expensive.
