Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

Course in Great Condition
Course in in great shape and staff very friendly. Great Value!
Lots of water.
water lines most of the holes, but as long as you stay straight, you don't have to hit over water much. small pro shop, and didn't seem like there was much food at the turn, but over all great roundon a nice course.
good value for your money
good tempo without having the impression of running
geens in top shape
with Golf Now.Com, it's a real bargain
we are waiting for Clublinks to work its improvements to the Palm Aire Courses
I am told the greens and sand traps at the Palms course have been redone since Clublinks took over a year ago. It looks like these improvements have been made although no bunkers or greens have been reshaped-redesigned. The rest of the course from power carts to paths and fairways and overall condition still needs a lot of work to get the place up to Clublinks standards. All that being said, its still a fun course for the money (if you book through GOLFNOW) and at a convenient location.
Palms course greens were perfect, fairways good, driving range A+, country club no so much.
We palyed on Friday, had a little back up but no big deal. The greens were in the top 3 that i have played in the last part of the year like this. perfect. fast but not so quick that you had no control. Bunkers were awesome. soft fluffy sand so you could actually plan and execute a shot. Fairways were not hard which is normally a problem for courses at the end of the summer. I think maintained well. And for $30 not bad at all. Oh and the driving range, they give you nice nike golf balls to hit. Clean and not busted up. A+ for that. The country club NEEDS a kitchen. No kitchen. I was hungry after the game. hotdogs that was it. but they did have $2 drafts...
stay in fairway this course has tall rough
I was a individual female player the course did a great job matching me up. Had a great day
Playable course - good value for the money
Course was in good playing condition. Pace of play was very good. The Palm course is a good value for the money.
Nice course for the price
The course was in nice condition. Very good course for the average to better golfer. Pace of was consistent, not to slow, but not really quick either. Overall not a bad course.
needs work, greens SLOW & Small Target Golf
Not in the best shape needs a lot of work greens to small and to slow, price is not bad, greens were a lot larger last year.
Rick
This course is in very good condition, the tee boxes are level, fairways are in good shape, and the greens are very hearty. I would definetly return!
Overall good value for the rates, Would definetly recomenned, will definetly return
Solid course
Course was pretty solid. Got a great deal for 21$ at 7:30. Played the palms and it was quite easy till the back nine. Managed to shoot 77.
Course in good shape
The course was in good condition. Much better than it was during the summer. Not crowded.
Poor customer service and awful greens on the Palms
At the Palms clubhouse, the employees were more interested in each other and sharing stories and getting their coffee than even greeting us when we walked in and the bag boy should have stayed home as it seemed that we were interferring with something that he would have rather been doing , not a good morning, not a smile, nothing! We bought a bucket of balls but found the range was full so 4 of us had to share one spot to warm up. Tee boxes were good, 8 out of 10 rating, fairways the same or better, 8 or 9 out of 10 but the greens.......terrible, 3 out of 10. Weeds, mounds, bumps everywhere and the edges of the hole were awful. I'm a high handicap player and dont usually complain but this was bad.
this course is complete and fun
I played the day before a tournament so found the course a beauty.
Course is in so-so condition
Fairways were fine, but greens need to be repaired. The course plays very fast. Not the most challenging layout but great deal for $20.
Palms is a fun course
Good for the novice or more experienced player. Greens need some serious work but course is in good condition otherwise.
