Deep Creek Golf Club

If you enjoy waiting 5 minutes between every shot. This is the course for you. Not sure why it is so slow, whether they try to overbook tee times or whether golfers spend too much time looking for lost balls or lining up putts but this course speed of play is why people seem to be looking for other activities other than golf. In honestly with the length of the course it is my opinion a round of golf here should take no more than 3 and a half hours to play and that is not rushing.

Enjoyed the course, staff was very pleasant and helpful. My only problem and I know it is high season, was pace of play. Course was in great shape, sand was consistent and good quality. Would recommend this course.

Everything was great except the pace of play which was VERY slow & only allowed us to play 12 holes!

Golf course was average. The pace of play was poor. Greens were fine. The course that day had a lot of play I would not go back.

This is not a easy course, it will test your skills. Fun to play, great staff, the course is in good shape.

They closed early, so we could play only 9 holes. Very slow speed.

I will recommend it to all player. Very good condition. Friendly people! We had serious fun!

This course has five different tees and is relatively right in front of you. Only a few holes are blind doglegs from the tee with most being the finishing holes. We were waiting for the group in front of us and still finished in a little over three hours. Overall Deep Creek is a fun well maintained course that the average amateur will enjoy. The people playing and working there were exceptionally nice and friendly.

a great reception upon check in, the fellow took the time to write out the area to watch for on the course. the course was in very good shape, the green true and fast. there is a lot of water on the course, and it makes it difficult to play the first time. we would definitely play it again, hopefully with better results. great deal from golf now

I haven't played at Deep Creek for a couple of years - but I had heard that it wasn't in the best of shape. Ridiculous!!!

The fairways and rough were perfect. The bunkers are outstanding. The greens are a little slow for Florida, however they are extremely consistent. And, since the vast majority of their golfers are from the North, I think it makes sense to keep them a little slower. There are too many "super fast" greens in Florida. I don't thing that is what the average golfer wants.

The staff in the pro shop and lounge were the friendliest I have experienced since I have been in Florida - about 9 years.

All things considered, it's been a long time since I have had a
better time on a course.

had a early tee time lots of people playing pace of play was fast not a very long course but fun greens were nice traps had new sand in them very well maintained

Lots of water....Built of a series of canals there is water everywhere. The course is short, the greens were great, fairways were nice and this made it fun to play. I made the mistake of using my driver the first few holes and that cost me strokes. When I put the big club away and started using my hybrids I had a blast. Course management is the only way to play, not bang, find it, and hit it again, that won't work here. I was lucky and the pro shop paired me with a nice couple that were members. They were my guide to "Course Management" of this layout and made the whole experience very enjoyable.

Good reception.parking on sand is not so good.Practice with iron only. Greens and fairways in excellent condition.15 minutes delay due to a tournament.

The couse is in great shape, Played twice while on vacation. Was going to look for another course, but was very satisfied and wanted to go back and play it again. WIll definately go back on the next trip.

Course is moderately challenging and kept in wonderful condition. Due to the large amounts of rain in this area over the past few weeks there were some low spots that were a bit mucky, but crews were repairing as we played. Well maintained course and exceptional personnel

My wife and I played saturday @ noon. The course is in excellent shape, the speed of play was perfect and the layout is unique. Many risk-reward holes, lots of fun!

This course is in the best shape from the last 2 years. Well maintained and relaxing pace of play. Improvements made over the last year are in wonderful shape.

The course booked a five some in front of us. They were very slow and did not let us go through. At the 16th hole, after we tee-off, one of the players sais he had to re-tee off since his ball was out of bounds, This is when we found out the five some was playing for money. How rude. They should have let us go through. We complained to the pro-shop and they knew they had allowed a five some play even though it is not their policy.
