Fun and Challenging
This course forces you to us every club in your bag. And once you make it to the green, that's when the fun start. Very fast greens..great test for any golfer. Thanks, CC- Cape Coral, Florida
Very nice course
Good lay out. The course is difficult the first time you see it as you can't always hit driver on the par 4s. Having a laser helped a bunch. The greens are very nice and very consistent. There are often subtle slopes in ares that look flat. Must look at putts from all sides. Pin placements can greatly change the difficulty due to shape of greens. The only down side is when the first tee starts to back up a starter was not there to sort out the order of starting.
Fun day in the sun and wind!
Breezy day, pace was good for a Sunday afternoon in Florida. Will play here again!
Even had a Bobcat watching me hit a shot!
Great experience. Very friendly staff and members
Not at easy as it looks. A lot of water and some challening holes. Will come back
Lay out is good.Holes are challanging but not overly hard.
Over all the staff are friendly, with the exception of one individual. She seems to go out of her way to be difficult. The course is close by and for the most part fairly priced.I would give it a3 1/2 if it was an option.
This course will make you think. Its not that easy
Great course to play.Greens are large, sooo you better look twice before you put! Will play again.
nice short course
I enjoyed my experience at deep creek. Its quite challenging for a short course.
a good value
other than backups occuring on several holes, this course was fun and challanging
Great Time
Deep Creek is a Family owned course and you can feel it when your there. Kind and freindly faces add to a course in great condition with playable par 4's and tempting par 5's.
Good time had by all!
a great afternoon except for the pace of play
i booked a round as a single &had a very enjoyable round with the group i played with.the course was in good shape & with the very windy conditions a challenge. My only complaint was the obliviouse foursome in front our group.(i think one of the other reveiws was behind them).they were told to hit their tee shots by the starter on the first tee & thesn proceeded to back up the course until 4:45pm.the starter said that this group are always holding up play! iguess that makes them members.we did not see a ranger until the 17th green! i definetely would like to play this course again & would recomend it to anyone but not until the off season
Pace of play on the first 5 holes is terribly slow. Three groups on the 5th tee. Some goofy short par 3's.

better orgabization with starter
only got 9ne holes in and paid for 18 the course was backed up and the range and starter did not speed things along at all people were not using golf edicate and this was not being enforced by th starter giving people who wokr there the ability to go off the back nine while lines of people were waiting to tee off the 1st hole they should not use allow employes to go off the back nine and not the people who pay there green fees shame on them I did not even get my moneys worth and that is not right I guess I need to work there in order to get a chance to play golf
Very good value for the money
We always enjoy playing at this course, it does have challenges for those of us that do not always hit a straight ball. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This time we stayed for "Taco Tuesday" and the tacos were delicious. We highly recommend this course.
Looks easy, tougher than you might think.
Front nine is always very slow. With three par threes on the front along with a layup par four, this nine can only be slow. Back nine much nicer and plays quicker. The entire course gives you some interesting looks off the tee, some can be intimidating with out of bounds on one side and water on the other. Fairways much more generous on the back nine. Greens have a lot of grain making it much tougher to gage the speed and breaks when putting. Entire course could use more water in the fairway, other than that it is well maintained. If you can, be sure to take advantage of "Taco Tuesday" in the restaurant. Must make reservations for the 4, 5 & 6PM seating.
Great course lay out.
Nice course lay out with lots of water and very pretty views. The course was in average shape and paying the $35 was about the right price for this course. The normal price of $50 is a bit steep for the course.
It's a Slow Play course
A quite nice golf experience. The course itself is in really nice condition, fairways, greens, tee boxes just the way we like them. Lots of water all around so shot placement is at a premium. Many of the fairways are bounded by water on one side and condos on the other. Bunkers are well placed and add to the challenge. The course has no guidance on the scorecard nor at the tee markers about the shape of the hole; tee markers give distances only.
It's peak season now and all courses everywhere are as good as they are going to get.
A bit pricey for the experience (unless you can grab a deal on golfnow.com).
Unfortunately, the play was just too slow. Walking is allowed (even encouraged), and a lot of mediocre golfers pretending to be Fed Ex cuppers checking out putts from all angles before missing their next triple bogey putt - you get the picture.
Out of season, Deep Creek is a fine experience, but for now, it just takes too long to complete a round.
On the other hand, staff are friendly and really want you to like the golf course, the restaurant/bar is good, service is fine.
There is a nice putting green.
The driving range is IRONS only - just 175 yards which kind of puts a limit on your pre-round practice shots.
If management of this course would specify walking periods, this would bump up my 3 star rating by 1 more star.
Very good layout
A shorter course but a good test. Harder than the card shows.
Very nice condition with varied holes. Staff was great. Well worth playing.
lots of water and a good course to walk
it is booked too tight, consistently bunches at the 3rd hole, 12 players.
Great course before Christmas, overbooked after
women friendly - good conndition
good shape - female friendly - some challenge - good restaurant and pro shop
