Wait at every hole
This course is at best average. The real problem is you will wait at every hole. This even happens off season. They just schedule golfers to close and if a member wants to play they stick them in. Very frustrating. Never see a ranger.
Very interesting course
I loved the little dog legs all over the place.And water placement. The course is a little tight on some holes so your drive really matters. I used a three wood more then my driver just because of placement. I enjoyed tbe corse but the play was so slow. Had to wait on ever hole for the groups in front of us and it was jot there fult I believe that they just put the groups out to fast. If you are a fast player this will drive you nuts. Some holes we had to wait 2 or 3 groups to hit before we could hit if they could change the pace of play I would give this course 4 to 5 stars. The fairways were in ok condition but the greens were in great condition, a little slow.But lots of angulation and you really have to be accurate with your puts.
Greens were very good and most of the tee boxes. Fairways could use some attention but mostly playable. A lot of bare ground off the fairways in the rough areas. I assume that being caused the drought conditions in southwest Florida.

Friday golf
Deep Creek for the first time was a challenge. Tight fairways with a good amount of water. We made it through 18 still happy as we had fun and it was a beautiful day.
Sunday Afternoon Golf with Friend
The weather was perfect and the course was good. Pace was a little slow but was expected for a Sunday afternoon.
Like the course but could be better
Pace of play was slow, just under 5hrs
Course was at best ok, but i suppose the current drought is mostly to blame.
Fair conditions considering ongoing drought
Severe drought over last several months left this course quite dried out. Many bare spots on tee boxes and throughout fairways and rough. Greens surprisingly in great shape though, rolling true and decently fast. Friendly staff and very good restaurant/pub on site. I’d like to come back when the course is in better condition after drought.
