Greens were covered in unrepaired ball marks and the sand was reminiscent of wet, red clay. Overall it was a solid course for the cost, but there are much nicer courses in the area with similar greens fees.

My teen son describes course as highly scenic with neat elevation changes, and gives compliments to course design around water. Traps need sand therapy. A must play with generous fairway landings and soft greens. Placement of several tee shots demands some left brain energy. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

Played late in the day with a 5:15 tee time. Didint have to stop one time on the front nine. Once we made the turn there was a 5sum which held us up a bit but we let the single behind us play with us and it was fine. The way we felt is how can we complain when were playing on this beautiful course. The greens were soft. Tough to read each green ran different. Just like a woman they all were girls just played different. Overall great course. Will play again real soon.

A really nice layout that is in wonderful condition. Course feels very open from the tee and presents a good chance to score on most holes. Although the course plays through a high end residential development the houses do not intrude on the course.

This course is a very laid out challenging course , well maintained with a very helpful staff on hand to assist with whatever your needs are , we will play it again

Very pleasurable experience. Only reco is that lawn staff be more alert to golfers playing the course- had to wait a few times.

By far Oak Valley is my favorite course to play around me., one thing, its only 5 minutes away. Everything about it is in great condition and both nines excite me no matter how many times I play it. The greens also roll very good and true.

Beautiful course that is kept in excellent condition. Definitely more challenging the first time playing the course. Will look forward to returning with better knowledge of some holes. Pretty terrain. The staff in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful.

Went out on a Monday and played 18 in about 2 hours and 45 minutes. The fairways are a little spotty but still nice and the greens are fast and roll fantastic. The front nine is very nice with a lot of downhill shots and the back nine gets tighter and more difficult. The course played very nice and I will definitely be coming back!

Great condition from tee to green. Very enjoyable and playable from the blue tees which played 6600 yards. Also like where the bunkers were placed. Plenty enough challenges to keep you on your toes. Will definitely play again!

Course, lay-out in great shape! Fast Greens, fairways and tees in very good shape. Will return.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. It is a course that challenges you, but you can recover from your bad swings too. My only complaint from this latest round was the sand traps needed to be maintained a bit. This isn't normally the case. Perhaps the golf outing they had earlier in the day was the cause of their condition.

Nice green fairways and putting greens, grass was difficult to hit out of but that's part of the fun. There does need a ton of work on the bunkers though, they are very bad looking with valleys and most of the bunkers are extremely hard packed so that makes it no fun to try to hit out of for a non professional.

Oak Valley is a great course to play for all handicaps.
The course is very straight forward and somewhat a challenge. As with many courses tee shots are very important to score well. Greens are in great shape and very readable. The staff at Oak Valley are fantastic and will assist you any way to make your day perfect. Thanks again for a great day and I will play your course again soon.

Course is always in great shape. Great layout, lots of challenging holes, and the more you play it, the more you will learn how to play it. Staff is friendly. Pace of play is usually pretty quick. Cannot beat it anywhere for the price. Nice Palmer design.

The pace of play was actually around 4.5 hours due to a foursome in front of us. But a beautiful day so not a big deal.
Keep it left on the approach to the 9th green, no matter where the flag is.

the greens at poanna in them but where mowed down and had a good speed to them. Tornado activity close by and the rain came and poured for 30 min. Had to stop after 12 holes.

The greens are usually pretty fast and several of them have some swerve to them. If you are looking for a risk reward course, this is it. Take a risk and miss the shot then bogey is a luxury. On the flip side hit the shot and your looking at a good score.

great layout with scenic holes, good variation of holes, good mix of short and long holes, everyone was friendly and helpful, have played course twice and will continue to play
