First time playing, challenging and in great shape. Very enjoyable round, can't wait to get back out there.

Great atmosphere here. they were having a tournament the day I went and they had food and drinks and invited me to eat with them. I will be heading back to oak valley again in the future.

The greens are great, fairways were in great shape, and the cart paths were well maintained. Really liked the water layout on the course. Will definitely be back

Played on a Saturday in August for $24, can't beat that. Course is beautiful and fun to play. It's a fair layout with no hidden trouble. Fairways were in great shape. The greens had many unfixed divots from other players that affected several putts. That was annoying, but otherwise a great course.

Really enjoyed my outing last weekend. Pace was a little slow with a twosome behind a threesome behind a foursome. Course was in great shape and was a fun play. The only thing that would have made it better would be a lower score, but I guess that wasn't the course's fault. Greens were a little unpredictable (some fast, some slow), but I felt like they played true to my reads. Overall, it was a great value for the amount paid, and I will definitely be back. Worth the 25 minute drive because I pass several far inferior courses on the way. Would fully recommend to anyone.

Had a friend keep telling me how much he thought I would enjoy this course. Finally got the time and a great hot deal as well to go play it with him. He was right!!! Absolutely loved this course course. Staff was extremely friendly. Course was in great shape. The two of us finished the front 9 in just over 90 minutes and the entire round in about 3 1/2 hours. Even though this was my first time playing here i still had my best round of the year. If your a high handicapper you will still love this course. Although this course is challenging even if your a high handicapper you should still have fun as long as you play from the appropriate tee boxes. There is nothing bad I can say about this course and I am itching to go back. Will definitely be making this one of my regular courses to play on.

I love oak valley. I have played it twice and enjoyed each round. The greens roll true and you can shoot a good score if you hit decent shots. Finished with the same ball I started with. Very fair course. Big drives can really pay off.

Great time! Blues were 6400 yds, I like a course that gives you challenging holes mixed with some that are very manageable, this course does that. You grind a few out and then it lets you breath for a couple. The water and bunkers are placed where you can get into trouble but leave you significant space to avoid them.

Starter was extremely pretentious but club house staff were great. Good rate through golfnow. No beer girl out on course. Normal rack rate too expensive.

Think before you swing. 18 is one of the nicest holes I have played anywhere around Winston-Salem.

One of the better looking courses I've played in the Triad area..

Tough 7th hole for the first time player. It helps to play the course a couple times prior to know its good spots.

Course is very challenging. Great design. Water on the course for those that walk! Great experience. Will return often.

Course in great condition. Challenging for all skill levels but still very playable course. Lots of fun.

Slow play was a result of Captain's Choice tournament immediately in front of our group.
Excellent practice facilities (driving range and putting green).
Hot day with plenty of cold water available on the course.
Excited about going back to play at Oak Valley.

I played Oak Valley with a friend. This is an Arnold Palmer Course. The layout is fantastic. The course is challenging with 6 Par 4's longer than 400 yards from the Blue Tees. The only negative I would say, they have some winter kill in the fairways and some of the Par 3 tee boxes are pretty beat up. Other than that, the rest of the course is in Great shape and fun to play. I look forward to my return.

This was my first time playing this course, and I had heard good things about it leading up to it. After playing, these comments have been confirmed in my mind. The course is beautiful and fun to play. Challenging but not to challenging to be unenjoyable. The only thing I have to complain about is that the greens weren't all consistent. Some rolled faster than others and mostly all of them had ball marks all over them.

May be better when summer greens it up, but Fairways and Rough were all dormant yellow and mowed almost bare. Tee'd off at 2:30 and barely finished before dark.
