Connestee Falls Golf Course

The golf course was in fabulous shape from the tee boxes to the greens.Very well maintained with each tee box beautifully adorned with unique flower boxes sponsored by different families. The surroundings were breathtaking views and lines with greenery. The course was challenging due to the local terrain changes and ups and downs. Really fun to play!

I’m general a perfect golf course. I played in Cherokee yesterday and would argue hard that this course is better and half the price.

This course was in the best condition I have ever seen. It has been several years since I last played this course. I will definitely be back to play again. Fabulous conditions and be prepared to see deer, even on the green sometimes.

Great course. Only negative is the the extreme slope of greens on the back side, making it difficult to keep the ball on the green while putting from above the hole.

The course is always in great condition. Each hole presents a new challenge and you can really use all the clubs in your bag depending on which tee box you play from.

Connestee Falls is a wonderful blend -Mountain course, George Cobb design, semi-public access, interesting layout, excellent conditioning and friendly staff. What’s not to like?

The course is not the longest, but it has tees for almost every ability, and the fairways are remarkably wide for a mountain course. Fairways and greens and surrounds are almost perfect - few bad lies and fewer bad rolls. There is not a lot of sand or water, but the greens are small and most misses will require an excellent short game to save par or bogey. The front is easier than the back, which has more elevation changes and steeper greens. There are a couple of blind driving holes and a couple more that feel awkward from the tee , but all are manageable once you know your way around.

All in all, this is a beautiful, fun and well-groomed course with plenty of challenge to go with the views and enjoyment. It is indeed fortunate that it offers some public play. CF offers very good value and a rewarding golf experience.

It was an awesome mountain course. One of my favorite layouts yet.

Had a tee time a couple weeks ago but got rained out. There was a mist in the air for this round but I was going to play no matter what. The course is fantastic. One of the better ones I have played and probably the best value. Similar courses would command double or triple greens fees. The course is in great condition. The views were amazing. The greens were just a tad slow but rolled true. Very wide fairways make this course great for all skill levels. I played blue tees and that was great. Believe they have five sets of tees. Very satisfied!!

Beautiful area and exquisite course for the price ( hot deal) regular price seems like a great deal also, course is in excellent condition, fast pace of play never saw groups below or behind us after hole 3, saw more than 20 deer up close, pristine greens, solid rental clubs and fair price. Visiting and excited to return especially during fall color change. Friendly staff. Awesome spot cars are new with GPS would be a long course to walk, rather hilly

My son and I played the course from the blue tees, and yes it is a challenging course due to elevation changes. This course is worth every cent just for the scenery and wildlife! White squirrel and dozens of deer meander through the course freely but the course is in excellent shape, although the greens weren’t as fast as I thought they would be for this caliber of course but a good roll or two and they would be tiptopthis was the only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star

Second time we played here this week. Again, it was a great experience. Course was in excellent condition. Carts had GPS. Price was right and amenities were good. Highly recommend.

This course is one of my favorites. Tough but playable with super course conditions. Well worth the drive for those within 1-2 hours.
