Connestee Falls Golf Course

This is good golf course. But 45..00 on a Wednesday afternoon is pretty steep for it. This was after my golfpass discounts.

Greens were slow. It had rained a few days so the wetness around the greens is excusable.

Layout is a bit tricked up but mountain golf is good for that.

The scenery and the wild life are incredible. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only exception to the staff would be whoever was giving the lessons by the 1st tee box, I assua teaching professional. Never lowered his voice or taught etiquette of when fellow players are on the tee addressing the ball. When we were on the tee, he kept right on speaking loudly. Seems like etiquette should always be in the lessons.

One of the nicest public courses I’ve played for the price. Certainly made a course like etowah look like a joke. The elevation provided cool holes and the condition of the course was as good as you could want unless your really snobby about that. As a member at lake toxaway 50 minutes away this course fulfilled all my needs. Funny staff too.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our experience in Connestee Falls Golf Club in recommended and the value of the course was well worth it we were going to play at Sapphire Valley and so glad we drove the extra distance to come up there it was fantastic. The only thing we had a little bit of issues with the cart stalling out saying that we were out of bounds on the car path.

But I’m foggy song we would definitely play again and look forward to the next time

Connestee Falls is a great mountain layout. We play it several times a year. It seems to be in a rainforest in the summer. The staff is great and the course is in great condition given the amount of rainfall they have to deal with.

Enjoyed this course immensely. Staff were nice course was beautiful. I was a single and they paired me up with a twosome, who were absolutely great to play with. Deer on every hole, great scenery. My new favorite course in WNC!

The course is awesome for the price. I'd say one of the better courses I've played under $100. Generous fairways ,thick rough and, tree lined with lots of elevation changes.. Blue tees played short and made you think instead of just hitting driver. A par 5 with a 5 iron off the tee! The greens are deceptive and hard to read uphill/downhill. Plan on leaving a few short and running a few by 15'. The only thing that was amiss, the 18th hole is anticlimactic and leaves you wondering what happened. I was waiting for this awesome finish and it was a straight par 4 up the hill.. Staff were friendly and attentive. Tons of wildlife, nearly every hole had deer or foxes or white squirrel. For the price, this is a must play.

Beautiful, challenging course. Beautifully maintained, well run, so scenic, complete w wildlife everywhere. Really enjoyable…but tough!!

Really enjoyed the course and layout. Very well maintained. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Looking forward to playing again now that I have a little better course knowledge!
