Great place to take my grandkids and my wife, the putt-putt is very interesting
Family fun practice course
This course isn't a typical course. You won't see tee offs. Its a chip and putt course. Was very fun and surprisingly difficult. The short pars (under 100 yards) throw you off your game. Its a challenge. Chances are you're going to be in water hazards so use older balls or practice balls. Had a lot of fun.
Tee boxes are non existent. Unless you want to power putt 60-75 yards don’t go here. No hole was over 80 yds. Plenty of friendly crackheads smoking in/ around course. As well as water hazards with the ph balance of battery acid. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Most fun I’ve had in awhile
Staff were very friendly, and the course is in great shape. Great for beginners, or avid golfers who just want a change of pace. I’ve been playing for years, and it was such a refreshing experience, and a great way to practice short game shots.
8 force carries but great time
I took my two boys ages 7-8. They loved it. The only issue is that on 8 holes there is a force carry over water. After a few attempts I just let them chip from the green side. Otherwise. For the money it’s a great experience for all golfers
Proceed with caution.
This is a course for beginners. However, the holes are extremely close together & many players have little to no knowledge of golf etiquette. It was very dangerous and the pace of play was horribly slow. Do not recommend.
Good place to practice your short game
Make sure your short game is good because if not a lot of water on course. A lot of balls maybe needed. Greens were not cut so they were slow
Not what advertised
I was not happy when arriving at this “course”. To call this a par 3 course is a joke. It’s literally a glorified putt putt course. The holes are literally 70 yards and under. I had to hit a sand wedge the entire day. By entire day I mean 8 holes, because we left feeling like they got one over on us. We paid 25 I believe to play, when Charles L Sifford you can actually play real golf for 21 on certain deals. The pictures and description are extremely misleading. Waste of time and money.
Pleasantly surprised
My son was coming down for a weekend and i wanted to quickly throw together a round of inexpensive golf (since I would be funding this event). We played here about 10+ years ago when he was just learning and the conditions then were patchy ... not a great experience. However when we arrived Sat. am, I was very pleasantly surprised, this place was in great shape. Now it's just a par 3, which was perfect to work on our short game. That water will sometimes attract your ball. Butch and AJ were very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed it a bunch !
short but hard
This small par 3 is a chip and putt course. You only have to bring 2 clubs; a wedge and putter, but your short game better be good. All of the greens are small and even if you land on the green, it may roll off. The greens are not good for putting either. The grass is too long. It was also pretty soggy the day we went as the area got soaked in the days prior. Every hole is under 100 yards but you have to be on or you can not score well. Its too hard for me as i would rather be a full wedge out than 3/4 or half. But i guess its good for practice in that area.
Small and Slightly Challenging
This course is great if you just want to get out and play some quick golf. The grass on the greens is thick, but that makes it easier to hold them. I highly recommend creating your own tee boxes on this course to make it a little more fun as every hole is under 100 yards.
Decent and fun Par 3 course
Being budget friendly this course has some really fun features that make some of the lesser attributes worth the money. I play here all the time and really have a good time.
Pros: Very affordable, interesting, very fun setting with plenty of challenges.
Cons: Tee mats often can be in poor condition and should be replaced more often, greens can be a bit rough, waterfowl can be a nuisance, pedestrian traffic from neighborhood can be a problem.
Other notes: Again, bang for the buck this is a fun course, for the beginner it can be a challenge in that the holes/fairways are rather narrow and many of them quite short so not much room for error, expect to loose quite a few balls to both water hazards and woodline/creek.
Great course, great play!
This 18 hole course has it all. Water, bunkers and good conditions! It's kept up, and I would definitely recommend this course.
