Salem Glen Country Club

This was the first time I've played this course in 20 years. Staff was super friendly. Course was in great condition. Was a more challenging course than I had remembered. Will surely play this course again.

The course is immaculate condition! Greens are fast but fair pace. Highly recommend. Enjoyed the 19th hole too!

Course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Well kept and the greens are fantastic. Bunkers have new sand and are playable. Enjoyed the round so much , we are going back next week. Love what I am seeing. Have played there often

First time ever playing this course. Would definitely come back. Course was in great shape, holes were laid out in challenging manner, greens were very fast and breaks weren’t always as you read them. Would definitely play ahain

Lots of bunkers and the carts have some type of auto braking which is nice when parking, but wasn’t comfortable while driving unless you hold it wide open. I like electric golf carts because theirs no foot brake, but these wouldn’t coast they’d go and if you let off the gas it would brake hard then more gas all day back and forth. I was getting nauseous! Doesn’t help the cart path is sectioned, old, and uneven either so it was thumping hard on these bumps every 2 seconds while hesitating!

SG is very nice course I love the green speed. I wish I lived close by

Great layout and condition changes between front and back nine. Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings.

First time playing at SG this year. We usually get over 4-5 times a year. Enjoy the layout and the course is usually in good condition. Greens were fast , a bit beat up from players not fixing ball marks. Fairways and rough very lush, and like most courses in the area , easy to lose your ball in the rough . Some of the tees were in need of attention, but overall the course was in good shape. The main problem with SG is slow play . If you read the reviews over the years, it always has been a problem. In fairness, they did have a tournament going on earlier in the day, but we played behind a 5 some that took us to a 4:45 round. Apparently the group included the new owner, so nothing could be done. I hope this is not a sign of how slow play will handled going forward.

Beautiful as it gets. It continued to wow me & my playing partner & we we are both very golf course picky. Beautiful design, friendly pro shop staff, excellent range & practice area for putting. Simply loved it & will play it again m as my times over. Favorite in NC.

Went and played by myself. I thought the course was outstanding. Had a group of 4 in front of me that took a little to let me through but they really didn’t hold me up much. I had a tee time at 7:25 and the sun was in my eyes on a couple of holes and the steam from the water obscured some ball flights but I was able to find all of my shots. Would highly recommend.
